Getting to know the Corpse Party lore is great fun for me. Sure, it's complicated, and some matters brought up in the game are pretty messed up, but for the nice horror experience I can work with that. I am on my way to go through all the other media, having already consumed some; I find it nice to be able to put this one next to the original.
Graphics are nice, even tho you can clearly see the "trend" of predatory images in anime (female underwear visible from under the skirt, big boobs, sexualization of youth and incest). Spooky parts are actually spooky and the game is complicated enough to not be a one time thing. Extras, alternative and wrong endings make it even more interesting.
If the distasteful anime images are a big problem to you, I'd reccomend trying the original Corpse Party instead of Corpse Party (2021). From taking a look at it, it looks less predatory, but I'll give a review once I've played through it.
The game is one of a kind and against all odds, I like it and probably will still like it.
