Wer They Are Billions geliebt hat und Fan von klassischer Echtzeit-Strategie ist, kommt an Conan Unconquered nicht vorbei. Ein verdammt forderndes, süchtig machendes Survival-RTS, das mich voll abgeholt hat!
Das Gameplay:
Das Prinzip ist knallhart: Man errichtet seine Festung, verwaltet Ressourcen wie Holz, Eisen und Gold und rekrutiert eine schlagkräftige Armee. Und dann branden die Wellen los. Es macht unglaublich Bock, zuzusehen, wie hunderte Gegner, Riesenschlangen und Dämonen gegen die eigenen Mauern anrennen, während man sie mit Ölkesseln und Katapulten dezimiert. Die Lernkurve ist steil, aber jeder überlebte Tag fühlt sich wie ein echter Sieg an.
Die Highlights:
Besonders cool sind die Helden-Einheiten (wie Conan selbst), die mit ihren Spezialfähigkeiten das Blatt in einer Schlacht komplett wenden können. Dass die Karten prozedural generiert werden, sorgt zudem für einen enorm hohen Wiederspielwert, da sich jede Runde anders anfühlt.
