This uses the same Template as Witch Hunt?
I felt like playing the same game.
The game didn’t provide much enjoyment for me, though I’m hesitant to leave a negative review for small developers, especially for a game priced this affordably. However, it feels quite similar to 'Witch Hunt'—almost like I was playing the same game. The developer has another title that also seems to rely heavily on pre-made Unity assets, which gives the impression of a lack of originality.

Empty and repetitive.. but fun, I guess. Can't see sinking a lot of time into it.
Also jittery af, made me have to check my graphics card updates.
It's fine, but get it on sale.

Explore a massive open-world countryside forest, while hunting the infamous Chupacabra and fending off waves of terrifying enemies!
Loved this game, would highly recommend! Its re-playable as well!

This game feels very similar to *Witch Hunt*, almost like I'm playing the same game. While I’m hesitant to leave a negative review for small developers, especially given the game’s affordable price, I didn’t find it particularly enjoyable. The reliance on pre-made Unity assets, which I’ve noticed in other titles from the same developer, makes it feel a bit lacking in originality.

okay so this game runs very well with no stuttering or crashes, etc. the game is simple, fun and also cheap so that's good. the AI is terrible though, the creatures swarm you all at once and the chupacabra seems like it just roams around the map, rather than hunting you. as a result it's very hard to locate it and the footprints didn't help for me but it was fun and I love this type of game so I give it 8/10 overall.
the chupacabra also is kinda useless in combat unless you are staying still but it was fun anyway.
8/10

Fun game, cool concept, pretty smooth. Could be a bit smother around doors and stairs, but for a solo dev the actual game play was smooth and the shooting was fun. It has a pretty big map with several poi's. if you like to hunt and are into cryptids, there is a few hours of fun here. This is an indi dev, dont expect AAA, and you should have some fun.

Well, what can I say about Chupacabra Hunt?
Is it a good game?
Is it a bad game?
Here's what I think:
Players here on Steam are extremely unsympathetic towards small indie developers.
I saw the few reviews the game received, and honestly, it's depressing to see such immaturity and stupidity disguised as knowledge.
I say this because when one of these jerks comes to criticize an indie game, they judge it as if the developer were a top-tier veteran charging them a fortune for an unfinished game...
Wait, no, that's what the big companies these idiots worship do.
Now, let's get to reality:
Is Chupacabra Hunt an excellent game?
No.
Is it well optimized?
Not at all, the guy urgently needs to learn how to fix this.
So, is the game fun?
Well, I kind of enjoyed it a little, and I think if the dev puts in some effort, he can really improve this product.
What I don't like about the game:
It's poorly optimized.
It has no save system; every time I die, I go back to the beginning of the game, even after killing a bunch of monsters and unlocking achievements.
What do I like about the game?
I’m not sure yet. I think for a game that costs less than $5, made by a small dev who’s probably still learning... it's a game that has the potential to improve.
My rating for the current version is 5/10.
But, keep going, man. Put in more effort and stop focusing on asset flips.
There are plenty of tutorials you can use to learn how to make more original stuff.
Thanks.
