Children of Morta is an action RPG with a rogue-lite approach to character development, where you don’t play a single character – but a whole, extraordinary family of heroes. Hack’n’slash through hordes of enemies in procedurally generated dungeons, caves and lands and lead the family of Bergsons, with all their flaws and virtues, against the forthcoming Gameplay-wise it's a unique mix of action-adventure RPG, rogue-lite and hack and slash game. By leveling up, you develop not only individual characters but also the entire family. There is no permadeath and you can change family members between the dungeon runs. The story takes place in a distant land but copes with themes and emotions common to all of us: love and hope, longing and uncertainty, ultimately loss… and sacrifice we are willing to make to save the ones we care the most for. Ultimately, it's about a family of heroes standing against the encroaching darkness.

It is pretty good start into roguelite genre with easier than typical "die and get more bonuses, so next time you go further". Plus nice couch coop.

Ocena ogólna może być wyłącznie bardzo pozytywna.
PLUSY:
1) Szybki gameplay: dużo się dzieje, ale nie na tyle, by nie panować nad wydarzeniami.
2) Wciągający gameplay: typowy syndrom Diablo, czyli jeszcze jeden loch, jeszcze jeden poziom, jeszcze jedno ulepszenie, etc.
3) Grafika: pixelart, ale szczegółowy, wręcz uroczy, z dalszej perspektywy bardzo cieszący oko.
4) Długość: powiedzmy, że te średnie 15 godzin jest naprawdę wystarczające, jak na grę "luźną", do przejścia albo czasem do odstresowania lub zabicia nudy.
5) Historia: na początku trochę niejasna, ale potem wciągająca. Bez specjalnych fajerwerków i zwrotów fabularnych, ale jak na rogalika hack'n'slash wystarczająco.
MINUSY:
1) Po ukończeniu wątku głównego zbyt duża powtarzalność.
2) Mniej więcej w 3/4 gry już bez zaskoczeń odnośnie pomysłów i mechanik. W zasadzie mała różnorodność (poza ilością grywalnych bohaterów i ich umiejętnościami, co ratuje przed zbytnią monotonią + zabieg twórców ze skażeniem wymuszającym grę innymi postaciami).
PODSUMOWANIE:
Gra idealna np. na wolny weekend, a potem, po jakimś czasie, dla typowego zabicia czasu. Ewentualnie dobry tytuł dla tych, którzy szybko i łatwą chcą zdobywać osiągnięcia :-P

Myślę, że śmiało mogę polecić ze względu na ciekawą oprawę graficzną, pomysł na przedstawienie historii i możliwość gry w trybie kooperacji.

One of the best games of this genre I have ever played.
Absolutely beautiful graphics, a slightly dark atmosphere contrasting with the warmth of family and home. Simple, accessible controls that do not require learning the keyboard by heart. At the same time, the combat system is incredibly satisfying. The combat is smooth, fast and dynamic but it gives you time to rest when you need it.
Simple but interesting plot, characters with unique personalities and skills give the game depth. In addition, the game is full of cute animals ^^ Just perfect game
I played this game with a friend and we had a really great time. I recommend playing with someone, but playing alone is also a great experience.
