solid way of experiencing these old games, but for some reason all the non-Switch versions have additional "Now saving data" pop ups that just aren't on the Switch. There's also no ingame way of closing the application, so you gotta Alt-F4 or press the X on the top left corner of the window to close it.

Die Castlevania Anniversary Collection bietet acht gut emulierte Spieleklassiker, denen ihr Alter nach einer gewissen Eingewöhnungszeit jedoch anzumerken ist. Während frühe NES-Titel sowie die Game-Boy-Spiele The Adventure und Belmont's Revenge teils extrem schwer ausfallen, spielen sich Super Castlevania IV und Bloodlines am besten. Dennoch behalten die genreprägenden Klassiker ihren Charme, auch wenn die späteren Advance- und Dominus-Collections das Spielprinzip weiter verfeinern. Als Bonus gibt es auch noch das Spinn off Kid Dracula was ein kleines nettes Spiel ist. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für Retro-Gamer, bei der künftig hoffentlich noch weitere Ports wie Symphony of the Night für den PC folgen.

Ja ganz Nett als Nostalgiefaktor zum mal reinschauen sonst sie die Games einfach alle Bockschwer und Kacke. Da ist die "Castlevania Advance Collection" sowie "Castlevania Dominus Collection" um Welten besser, gerade die Advance Collection habe ich auf der Switch durchgespielt und mir nochmal für PC gekaut weil es einfach der Hammer ist. Zum Glück habe ich die "Castlevania Anniversary Collection" Umsonst bekommen (Steam & Epic Games Store), sonst hätte ich mich geärgert weil es aus heutiger Sicht einfach keinen Spaß mehr macht und Zeit ist kostbar.
