I've shown my entire loyalty to this visual novel game when i purchased it the first time directly in their website for their "PC version". I paid the highest price which was 47,86 euros through BMT MICRO because it was sold in america (in dollars) and i had to pay some extra with the conversion into euro + the tax.
Now, they decided to release the exact same game with a Steam version and even by contacting the support to see if it was possible with some proofs like the bill of purchase to exchange the PC version into Steam, they answered me that the purchase was going to be separate and that there was no way to guarantee a Steam key to whom purchased the game before through their website. But hey, it will be sold in a discounted price when it will be released. The "discounted" price which is like 10% less, for few euros only, 34,19 euros instead of 37,99 euros. So to sum up, i paid for this game a total of 82,05 euros for the exact same game that has a steam version + a separate pc version.
Now my problem is : I have no doubt the game is good and through its quality deserve to be sold around 30-40 euros for what it shows to you. But i will not definitely recommand it as they want, because when i see some freaking positives evaluations from people that received the game free and comparing to that, they ask me to " leave a (positive) review and a thumbs up on the page, because it's a huge help for BLits Games (to promote their lovely game)". Do you really think i would leave something positive when you took the entire money without even trying to reward those who had already your game away from steam and wanted a free steam key. And you'll say why did you buy a steam version then ? Because i'm so dumb on loving that game that i couldn't see myself having this game anywhere than in steam, knowing it has some advantage like achievements + updates directly here, regretting the purchase of the pc version when i had to do what did some people on waiting the steam release to get it for a lower price that i paid (34,19 euros -steam/with that regional prize joke but i'll skip that fact too < 47,86 euros -their website). Now i'm hesitating on changing my mind to ask a refund but i don't know what to do, maybe asking a last desparate request for developpers to consider the situation. I mean i would be happily paying for dlcs for this game if that was really possible the exchange from pc version to steam freely but well, i'm just warning you to think twice before getting that game. Anyway i asked a refund cause i know they won't be helpful at all regarding my situation and this was my little story ^^.
Edit : I've been maybe harsh with this game but even if i felt salty about rebuying it, i can't deny its quality and awesomeness, i even decided to support the company by kickstarting their other game Jock Studio ^^
