One of the best if not the best Call of Duty games ever made. It throws you straight into the story, no warm-up, no mercy. The characters are absolutely outstanding, unlike the hollow caricatures we often get in the newer CoD entries. Set in the heart of the Cold War, the game lets you infiltrate the Soviet Union, feel the crushing weight of ideology, and witness brotherhood forged in suffering. The bond between Viktor Reznov, the legendary hero of World at War, and the protagonist Alex Mason during their imprisonment in Vorkuta is unforgettable. The same level of care is given to Woods, Hudson, and Bowman. Each character feels grounded, flawed, and real, as if they could step out of the screen and light a cigarette beside you. The villains are brilliantly written menacing not because they shout, but because they believe. The story was unapologetically dark. It plays with memory, identity, and manipulation. Call of Duty: Black Ops isn’t just a shooter. It’s a cold, paranoid fever dream about war, loyalty, and the lies nations tell their soldiers. A classic. And a reminder that this series once had something powerful to say.

Ciekawa kampania, choć nieco, czasami, psychologiczna. Ogólnie: polecam grę.
