Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare wie in jeden CoD üblich kommen wir als frischer Neuling in einen Delta Force Einheit, dessen Ziel es ist, Gegnerischen Kriminellen auszuschalten oder festzunehmen. Die Geschichte wird aus der Perspektive des britischen SAS-Rekruten Soap MacTavish und des US-Marine Sergeant Paul Jackson erzählt, die zusammen mit Captain Price an der Abwehr der extremen Bedrohung arbeiten. Es beinhaltet eine Zivilkrieg in Russland, die Invasion in ein nicht benanntes Land im Nahen Osten, Al-Assads Propaganda, einen Atomangriff auf eine US-Einheit, eine verdeckte Operation in einer ukrainischen Stadt und schließlich die Verhinderung eines nuklearen Angriffs durch Zakayev.
Story nicht wichtig - hauptsächlich wird hier geballert und mal gern Granaten geworfen, weil überall VIEL Munition auf'm Boden liegt. Taktisch wird auf normal nichts verlangt da sich die "Lebensleiste" von sich aus alleine regeneriert und keine Medikits zu vonnöten sind.

❌Preislich für das alte Schinken ist eine Sauerei

❌Missionengebieten sowie die Dauer pro einer Mission ist kürzer als meine Downloadgeschwindigkeit
Fazit: Für ein harten Alltag ist das völlig glasklar geil, aber für diesen Preis ist einfach eine Unverschämtheit der Nation überhaupt! Multiplayerserver gingen nicht nur per Mod, und da ging schon nix! Wer nur die Story spielen möchte und maybe noch eine alte Spielekonsole besitzt bekommt das Game fürn fünfer hinterhergejagt, dann ist es in Ordnung. Nichtsdestotrotz ein Gutes Spiel

Aber 18 Jahre später und ich muss sagen das COD 4 MW mir richtig spaß gemacht hat.

The game is great, especially the campaign, although you can already see the age of the game. If you are not annoyed by older graphics, then I would definetly recommend this game! The campaign is very short (it took me aprox. 6h) but very entertaining. Some smaller bugs, but nothing big.
Overall a solid 8/10, would definetly recommend, but maybe buy it on sale for 10$

Love love LOVE this game so much!The story is so fucking good and the game has so much replay value, the characters are great and when you played the full MW Trilogy many things start to make sense that werent so clear from the get go. Solid 11/10

Der Einstieg in die Modern Warfare-Reihe war ein absoluter Spielhingucker. Mit einer fesselnden Kampagne, die in die Schattenwelt moderner Kriegsführung eintaucht und einem Multiplayer-Modus, der eine Ära geprägt hat, setzte dieses Spiel neue Maßstäbe. Missionen wie "All Ghillied Up" sind bis heute legendär und demonstrieren die unglaubliche Liebe zum Detail, Spannung und Abwechslung. Das Spiel legte den Grundstein für die Popularität moderner Kriegssettings und bleibt ein zeitloser Klassiker.
