Broke Protocol is an open-world action game like GTA but with a strong focus on city roleplaying and custom content. You set your own goal and identity in fully scriptable community-run servers. Currently in Early Access.
Roleplay in limitless ways to gain money, power, and influence in dynamic city environments. Start with nothing and build your wealth, while managing your home, health, and relationships. Find amazing custom content, hand-made for each server. From exotic cars and weapons, to cool scripts and custom maps. Or start your own community with unique assets and scripting.
Steal cars, process drugs, trade with citizens, heal the injured, or enforce the law. Anything goes and the ways you can play are endless. Be warned, every player has a criminal record – and crimes like Grand Theft Auto, or Armed Assault will land your character in prison.
Climb to the top of the criminal underworld, or live your life as a paramedic, firefighter, driver, gangster, law enforcer and more. You write your own story in Broke Protocol.

You know, I hear the servers are dead, but I didn't really want to play it online anyways. I got this game heavily discounted, and it was absolutely worth it just to play offline. It's got a lot of really interesting detail and effort, and I find it to be a really fun little playground. I might even try my hand at making a map, who knows.

I owned this game since its inception, met life long friends here and we would always come back to see what is new

I joined a server, made a characther and a guy was immiedatly shooting me and then proceeded to piss on me and make french canadian slurs at me.
Went then home to play BROKE:PROTOCOL

This could be great game if developer added more content for mature players.
By this I mean game modes from Arma or even Sub Rosa game a like mode where players could RP mafias/companies & make deals, not just fight in pointless zone wars.
In general it's a great game with big potential, but developer is lacking EXTREAMELY player count & adult community as right now mainly kids now this game & this is an issue.
Gore or crime more advanced systems could also attract more players. (by crime I mean like hiding bodies or something like this so you wouldn't get star if noone saw or reported you to the law.)
But right now game is already good, just it very needs advertisement & more mature focus updates on specific things like I mentioned before.
