Breaking Wheel
Breaking Wheel is a platformer that takes our wheely protagonist to various interactive 3D environments combining an oldschool sidescrolling vibe with a next-gen approach to level design!
Having been overrun by the evil Grumanian Empire, it is up to one sole Wheel to bring the fight to the enemy, end the occupation of Wheelworld, and most importantly: recover the stolen coffee!
Our wheely protagonist is energized by everyone’s favorite caffeinated beverage and gets faster and jumps higher with every cup of coffee he retrieves. He may not have any hands, but that does not stop him from using bombs, swords, guns and even bazookas to fight off those pesky grunts, golems and bosses that oppose him on his quest to recover gold and coffee!

Really digging this game. I'm much more into RPGs than side scrollers, but grabbed this one, and for the price, I was actually really surprised. The 3D environments are engaging, the puzzles are challenging, and I had no idea there'd be something of a story there (a small one) and a decent amount of humor as well. I was honestly surprised to find the game this much fun and with a professional presentation (once you get past the intro, and outside of the text presentation, it really presents itself well). I half expected one of those games made with one of those "GameMaker Studio (tm)" games (like Hotline Miami). Naaaaa! Not this one. :)

I've really enjoyed this - surprisingly so, because I'm more into RPGs than a side scroller. The music is catchy, there's a cute story and the graphics are pretty good! I was actually expecting something simpler, so the humor and story came as a pleasant surprise. The load screens are reminiscent of Skyrim, the ability to customize your "character" (the wheel) is entertaining as well.

Disclosure: I backed this game during its indiegogo campaign.
Disclosure out of the way, the game is actually quite fun, funner than I expected. The amount of levels and differences in them is quite nice, customizable wheels, catchy music, even if I had not backed it, I would have bought it.
I'm not a massive platformer player, game list shows that for the most part, but it's nice to just be able to bomb around as a wheel and collect stuff, it's reminiscent of old-school platformers with a new twist, which I enjoy. Definitely decent, worth a try.

Although I only have about 68 minutes in the game, due to an update an hour after I finally got the game installed, and my slow as shit internet. I have enjoyed what little I have played. The music is fantastic, the art style is very charming, but the best part of this game is the level design. It takes a 2d side scrolling platformer, an overused at best genre, and turns it into a 3d platformer, this deviation sets it apart from other games very nicely. This, alongside the good looking backrounds makes me recommend this game to any buyers, especially at its low price.

Rather interesting game, Not my usual genre but I can't help but love it. the blend of slide scroller mixed with 3D works very well. Apart from a few hiccups with the game loading, on the first launch(and never again). It's well optimized with smooth gameplay, and a quirky story.
good game to play with a mug coffee.

It's a pretty 3D platformer with a sworld-wielding, coffee-chugging wagon wheel for a protagonist!

After I invested 5.7k hours they updated the game, shrunk the file size down by around 70%, ported it to mobile, and cleaned up UI...
They also shot my save file like it was some kind of animal 0/10
