So I am 21 hours in and still enjoying the game and wondering why the review lever is "Mixed". So I decided to response with my in-game experience.
- bug/crash in certain cities: Never encounter that during my game play, maybe just affect certain players.
- Journey calculation error: Again never happen to me. However need to mention that there are random events which can affect the journey time.
- time limit suck and get dull in mid-game: That's the main concept of the game. Not only time but all train and carriage will deteriorate/phase out over time. Also you will need to consider your reputation with the four factions. I found it fun and challenging after 21 hours and only completed around 80% of the game, so I think that's just a personal preference matter.
I think it is a fun management game with great freedom in characters/crew/train customization. A solid 8/10.

Worth robbing a train for...
The premise is simple, here is some cash go buy some stock and bundle it around the eastern US for some profit. Oh and buy shares in your father ex company to keep it away from a tyrant. The game is a resource management, time management game with some interesting add-on's.

I held off buying this game for so long due to the mixed reviews. I liked it. This weekend I needed a train game, and you know what this was actually pretty good. I'd buy it again. The battles can be long and repetitive, but hauling cargo and finding the best missions for cash was fun. Also the auction were a nice touch. The campaign was a bit grinding trying to figure out how to get stock if you don't have good standings with cities; however after 14 hours of playing I completed the campaign and was satisfied. It may be a while before I play it again, but it was worth every bit of the the bundle price.

This is a good train adventure that's original in concept and I wish the developers would keep at it as it's a terrific substitute for Railroad Tycoon II, a game I love a lot.
Caution note for achievement purposes, don't sell your locomotives as older models will not be available to purchase after progressing thru the game.

I have really enjoyed playing this game, it's a good strategy game where you can control so much and do as you want. I enjoy just traveling around, buying cheap and selling high and just expand both my train and my crew.

Beautiful little game, maybe a bit to expensive. You have your one train which can be upgraded and try to manage it as you bring cargo and people from A to B. Bandits should be an optional feature as are a pain in the as and nothing more.

A fun little game. I think it could get repetitive for some but this game is perfect for decompressing after a long day.
