After arriving at the Bird Tower, Gollum is forced to carry out the orders of the Keeper. The first task involves "incubating" eggs using the materials provided by the orcs. The puzzle becomes challenging due to the lack of specific instructions for completion. Let's explain the sequence for hatching chicks of any color.
General rules of the puzzle
Standing near a large furnace, Gollum will be under your control again. By interacting with logs, the character will pick one up and throw it into the firebox, thus activating it. On the left side of the furnace, there are bellows that can help you make the fire stronger. Before igniting the furnace, you need to prepare a set of tools.
Turn around and go to the opposite end of the room. Find the cage with a bird inside and take an egg from it. Proceed to the large cauldron with three flasks. This device is necessary for changing the color of the eggs. When interacting with it, the guard will start explaining how it works.
Next to the cauldron, there is a lever that activates the flasks. They color the liquid in the cauldron black, brown, and white, respectively. Another lever is located opposite it, which activates the nest where the egg should be placed after its color has been changed.
If you carefully examine the room, you will be able to discover the recipes. Now that you understand how the tools work, let's proceed to solve the main task.
How to hatch a black bird
Opposite the furnace, there are bird cages. Go around them to find the recipe for a black bird. You will also find a collectible feather here.
- Pour the black liquid from the left flask into the cauldron;
- Place the egg in the cauldron;
- Take the egg and place it in the nest opposite the cauldron;
- Put 2 logs in the furnace;
- Use the bellows 3 times;
- Pull the lever in front of the nest.
How to hatch a white bird
To the right of the furnace, there is a sequence scratched, indicating the steps to hatch a white bird. Here's how it is deciphered:
- Pour the white liquid from the right flask into the cauldron;
- Place the egg in the cauldron;
- Take the egg and place it in the nest opposite the cauldron;
- Put 4 logs in the furnace;
- Use the bellows 2 times;
- Pull the lever next to the nest.
