Secret Classes in Lords of the Fallen

In the dark and hardcore role-playing action game "Lords of the Fallen" by Hexworks studio, an extensive class system is presented, providing players with the foundation for creating a unique character. In addition to the nine standard classes with unique characteristics and equipment, the game also features four secret classes. In this article, we will explore the additional classes and how to unlock them.

It's important to note that the secret classes in Lords of the Fallen are not called so because they are difficult to discover or require complex in-game actions. They are actually unlocked at the end of the first playthrough, and you can only try them out at the beginning of the next game. Below, we will discuss how to unlock all the classes in the game.

How to Unlock All Secret Classes

In Lords of the Fallen, there are a total of 13 starting classes for players. Nine of them are standard and represent different character development paths: physical damage, agility, magic, and more. In addition, there are four secret classes.

Dark Crusader

The quickest secret class to obtain is the Dark Crusader. The simplest way to unlock this class is by purchasing the premium edition of Lords of the Fallen. In this case, the class becomes available for selection right from the beginning of the game. There is also an alternative way to acquire this class, which involves completing a specific side quest that can be easily missed.

To unlock the Dark Crusader, you'll need to complete a lengthy chain of tasks from Paladin Isaac, whom you meet after the initial part of the game and the defeat of the boss Otto. You'll need to gather specific items, encounter particular stigmata, and explore the world of Lords of the Fallen. Ultimately, this will lead to a battle with a powerful boss who will reward you with a key item that opens a hidden door containing Dark Crusader equipment. After this, you can choose this class at the beginning of the next playthrough.

The Lord class is an advanced class with an increased Inferno attribute. To unlock this class, players need to achieve one of the endings in Lords of the Fallen. To do this, you must reach the "Inferno" ending, which implies not supporting Adyr at the end of the game and not destroying the beacons as required by the plot.

This class starts the game with unique equipment, including its own catalyst and several rings that enhance the power of fire magic.

This unique class is also unlocked by achieving a specific ending in the game. To do this, you need to complete the game with the "Umbral" ending. It's important to note that this ending requires you to kill a key character at the end of the game and go through the final part of the game in the world of Umbral. The alternate world may pose a challenge during your playthrough.

As a reward for achieving this ending, you will receive a new class that focuses on the use of forbidden magic and relies more on a catalyst and spells as the primary weapons.

Radiant Purifier

The Radiant Purifier class is unlocked by achieving the simplest ending in the game. To do this, you need to follow the main storyline, cleanse five beacons, and defeat Adyr at the end of your playthrough. As a reward, you will receive a new starting class that focuses on light magic.

The secret classes in Lords of the Fallen are designed as more powerful alternatives to the standard classes. Their initial equipment and attributes allow you to create a formidable character right from the beginning, making access to certain spells significantly easier in some cases.
