With unlocked access to the Temple of Winds, players step into the captivating world of exploring this mysterious sanctuary, immersing themselves in legendary tales of the Silverwings and their connection to humanity. Within the framework of one of the intriguing temple quests, players will face challenging puzzles, assisting the heroes – Zeki, Kaleri, and Eloise. A pivotal moment comes with a puzzle that plays a crucial role in seeking the source of the Flow energy, the foundation of the quest "It Takes A Village - Eloise."
The Temple of Winds is not only inhabited by Ancient Cloud Minnows and Silverwings but also reveals Ancient Floubags, capable of aiding in solving the puzzle. The collaborative efforts and support of Eloise in the quest for Ancient Floubags are detailed in the quest "It Takes A Village - Eloise" in Palia.
Tasks of the Palia quest "It Takes A Village: Eloise"
- Activate the Flow Gates of the island.
- Return to Eloise.
- Find 0/6 Ancient Floubags.
- Return to Eloise.
How to complete the quest
For successful quest completion, players need to activate the Flow Gates on the Main Island, interact with Kaleri and Zeki to initiate the side quest "It Takes A Village," and then turn to Eloise to start her sub-task. Eloise will enlighten players about the reverence for Ancient Floubags as pure sources of Flow energy, used to power the puzzle on the Main Island and even considered a source of heat for cooking. However, this information requires additional confirmation.
When she asks players to locate and return six Ancient Floubags, they will need to explore the Main Island in search of these rare ancient creatures. There are several locations where they may appear. Players who have completed the preliminary quest "It Takes A Village - Zeki" already know the optimal location to find Ancient Floubags. If this quest is not completed, the following description of the location should be used.
After the conversation with Eloise at the Flow Gates on the Main Island, head east/right from her location, passing the juniper tree to a small platform where Flow Gates can be unlocked near a grapevine-covered column.
Climb up the vines, cross them to reach a gate, then descend the wooden bridge to glide and reach an air vent. Ascend the vent using the airflow and glider before attaching to the vines hanging over the platform. Then use another vent to glide to the next platform.
From here, players can unfold their glider and head first to the broken bridge, then to the grapevine-covered column, and use the airflow to glide to the next column and three air streams beyond it. On the crest of the rock, they will see two gates opposite each other and use the one on the right to reach the top of the platform, where they can peek around the corner to find the Silverwing Egg. However, going down the ledge, there is another gate going up.
Reaching the top, they turn slightly left and walk along the edge of the platform, where they can activate the Flow Gates. Eloise comes to this location, and they have a short conversation, after which she gives them ten Standard Smoke Bombs before continuing. A little behind Eloise is another gate they can climb, and hovering to a small alcove, they discover another Silverwing Egg before reaching the next platform. To the left of them is a small platform with a large juniper tree, where gliding will take them to a place where they can find Ancient Floubags.
As they appear quite quickly, players will be able to catch all six insects needed to complete the sub-task and return to Eloise at the Flow Gates. The reward for this will be five Reputations and assistance in solving the puzzle of the Main Island in the Temple of Winds in Palia.
