After chatting with Lichen in the game hall, you will be given a quest called "Catch the Escaped Seahorses." The essence of the quest is to find four types of seahorses:
- Hedgehog seahorse
- Crowned seahorse
- Giraffe seahorse
- Dwarf seahorse
Completing this task is a necessary condition to unlock the "Seahorse Races." This guide will help you accomplish this task.
Note: To complete this quest, players will need a net. You can obtain it by completing the task "Reticent Girl".
Location of the Dwarf seahorse
This sea horse hides in the Seed Shop. You will find the shop not far from the restaurant.
Location of the Hedgehog seahorse
Exiting the Seed Shop, head towards the restaurant. Pay attention to the signboard near it. The sea horse hides in the patterns on the signboard.
Location of the Giraffe seahorse
The Giraffe seahorse is waiting for you to the left of one of the portals.
Location of the Crowned seahorse
When attempting to find this specimen, players encounter many obstacles. Its location is known—you will find it in Tenzin's house. You can reach it using a teleporter. However, upon entering the house, you may discover that the seahorse is missing. This phenomenon is nothing but a regular bug. If this happens to you, you can re-enter the village. Usually, this fixes the error, and the sea horse appears in its place.
After finding all the seahorses, visit the game hall and talk to Linchen . She will reward you. After that, you will automatically receive a task to go to the racetrack and talk to Yami. This action unlocks the sea horse races.
