Palworld is an exciting game that has not only surprised with its originality but has also garnered a multitude of fans. In this world, you embark on your adventure alone, finding yourself in an empty plot where resource gathering becomes an integral part of survival in an open world. What sets Palworld apart is the unique feature that your loyal companions, known as Pals, can become your allies, assisting in resource collection, battles, and even serving as mounts.
One of the key resources to be obtained in the open world is wheat seeds. These seeds become crucial if your goal is to cultivate wheat and create a variety of recipes. It's important to note that information about resource gathering is not always readily available in the game, but in this guide, we will walk you through how to obtain wheat seeds.
How to Obtain Wheat Seeds
In Palworld, there are two primary methods for acquiring wheat seeds:
Harvesting Seeds from Pals
Some Pals have a chance to drop wheat seeds during encounters. For instance, it has been confirmed that the Pal known as Dinossom can be a source of these valuable seeds. They inhabit various locations, with the nearest one situated near the fast travel point "The Plateau of Beginning" at coordinates 236, -500. Note that Dinossoms are high-level Pals, so it's advisable to level up and enhance your equipment before attempting to defeat or capture them.
Purchasing Seeds from Merchants
Traveling west from the game's starting point, you'll come across a fast travel point called "Small Settlement." In this area, a bonfire is located at the center, and across from it, you'll find a merchant dressed in red within a small room. Interact with the merchant, and you'll discover that they offer wheat seeds for a price of 100 gold. If you lack the required amount of gold, you can sell surplus materials or Pals you no longer need to acquire the necessary funds.
Palworld provides a captivating experience where strategy and resource management play a crucial role. Stay tuned for updates, as the game is currently in early access, and gameplay changes may occur during its development.
