In the game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there is a variety of equipment and gear available for the main character. Armor sets not only provide additional protection against enemies but also grant useful abilities to the character. In this guide, we will talk about one of the most useful armor sets in the game - the Climbing Gear, which allows for faster climbing.
The Climbing Gear set significantly facilitates gameplay. With its help, you can climb cliffs and other objects much faster than with any other armor. Below, we will list the locations of the entire set, which includes the Climbing Gloves, Climbing Bandana, and Climbing Boots.
The Climbing Gloves
The first part of the set, the Climbing Gloves, can be found in the North Hyrule Plains cave at coordinates -1188, 0646, 0072, located to the north of the lookout point. The entrance to the cave will be on the slope of a hill, which can be spotted from a distance.
Upon entering, you will encounter two dangerous monsters. Avoiding them will be difficult, so you will have to fight them. Then continue exploring the cave, moving upwards until you see two waterfalls with another enemy. After defeating it, move to the right side of the location. Here, to your left, there will be two waterfalls - one below and another above it.
Jump into the water and swim through the waterfall, behind which you will find a chest. You can notice it in advance and better navigate the area using the item scanner. Once you reach the other side, proceed forward and open the chest to obtain the Climbing Gloves. This part of the armor provides 3 defense and increases climbing speed.
The Climbing Boots
These boots can be found at coordinates 2858, 0354, 0227 inside Zora's Mountain Road, a cave located to the west of Zora's Domain, north of Lake Hylia, and east of Zora River on the map. At first, it might be easy to get lost in this cave, but there will be only one path leading to the desired part of the armor.
Once inside, head into the first large area with water on the floor. From here, you need to move towards the right corridor of the cave, guarded by a monster covered in rock formations. To pass through, you need to go through a small gap in the wall.
Immediately after defeating this enemy, you will find yourself on a pathway below with a vine-covered wall at the other end. If you have a sword or an axe, you can simply clear your path. If not, a bomb flower can help. Keep going until you reach a partially flooded room with ruins. Simply cross this part of the location using any convenient method - swimming or jumping on the structures.
There, you will find a door mechanism that can be activated by hand. Open the door and wait for most of the water to drain from the area. Once this happens, you can freely explore this part of the cave and find the new part of the climbing set.
The Climbing Boots will be waiting for you in a chest located directly under the stone staircase to the right of the recently activated mechanism. This part of the armor also provides 3 defense and increases climbing speed.
The Climbing Bandana
The last part of the useful climbing equipment in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is located in the Ploymus Cave at coordinates 3663, 0539, 0272. You can find it to the east of Zora's Domain by climbing to the top of Mount Mipha-Kort. In this cave, you will have to climb walls a lot to reach the other end, but there are no unnecessary detours here.
Reaching the highest point of the cave can be a challenging task. It is recommended to equip the previously found parts of the climbing set - the gloves and boots will already give you a speed bonus, making exploring the area much easier. You just need to reach the highest point, occasionally resting on ledges.
The final point is on a high cliff, through which a passage to the right side of the cave opens up. Go to this area and open the chest to obtain the Climbing Bandana. This part of the armor provides 3 defense and increases your climbing speed.
