In the world of Starfield, the action unfolds many centuries after the once familiar abode of humanity - the planet Earth - has turned into inhospitable wastelands. Nevertheless, players still have the opportunity to return to Earth and explore the remnants of ancient civilizations amid vast rifts, meteorite craters, and deep caves.
However, discovering all the interesting locations on Earth in Starfield is no easy task because they don't simply appear. To find them, players should search for special clues that add additional landing sites to the planet's map. These hints are often found in books that you'll come across in major cities on Earth.
London Shard
To unlock this attraction in London, players will need to obtain a copy of the book "Oliver Twist." You can find it at Sinclair's Books in Aquila City. This will allow them to visit the landing site in London, where they will discover the remnants of the Shard ascending into the sky. There, you can also find the London snow globe, perched on a stone at the base of the former legendary tower.
Pyramids of Cairo
Before visiting Cairo, gamers must locate a copy of the book "Ancient Civilization of Egypt," available at Sinclair's Books in Aquila City. This activates a new mission and permits them to land at the Cairo landing site on Earth. Here, they will find the remains of two pyramids and the Cairo snow globe, situated on a stone slab at the base of the farthest pyramid.
NASA Launch Tower (Part of the Storyline)
As part of the main storyline mission "Unearthed," players will have to visit the NASA launch tower at Cape Canaveral. Whether this tower is considered one of Earth's landmarks in Starfield can be debated, but players will be able to find the NASA snow globe on one of the tables shortly after reaching the upper levels of the building.
International Trade Center in Hong Kong
In order to discover the exceptional attraction of Hong Kong within the world of Starfield, players will need effort and a well-thought-out plan. This article provides detailed instructions on how to find the International Trade Center and make the most of your visit.
Your journey begins with the search for Maurice Lyon's journal, the key to unlocking this unique location. Maurice Lyon, the renowned museum curator in New Homestead, located on Titan, one of Saturn's moons in the SOL system, will be your guide. In this museum, you'll find numerous intriguing exhibits, including books. Skillful players might even catch a glimpse of Maurice reading one of them. However, the specific book that grants you access to Hong Kong is located on a metal shelf to the left of the staircase leading into the museum. Once you find and read it, a new quest will unfold, and the location of Hong Kong will be marked on your Earth map.
However, don't rush to Earth right away, as Starfield restricts players' mobility inside buildings and ships. Therefore, before embarking on your quest to find Hong Kong, you'll need to return outside. Then, follow the standard procedure: open the map, set your destination, and initiate the landing.
Upon arriving at the Hong Kong landing platform, you'll be greeted by the towering International Trade Center. Although there aren't many attractions inside, you can always capture a few shots in Starfield's photography mode and collect a Hong Kong snow globe from the top of one of the rocks near the damaged part of the building. If visiting Hong Kong's landmarks on Earth is your primary goal, the quest's blue marker will guide you directly to this unique location.
