Captain, the Blobkins need your help! Monstrous, mutated fish are swarming from all over and eating your friends. Take command of your Blobkin; the mightiest, tiniest, defenders of the reef. Fight for survival, clean up the ocean and destroy the defiled monsters of the deep.
Your Blobkin friends are ready to jump into the mayhem and be blasted at their enemies head-on. Squishy fists deal terrifying blows!
Just one thing, Blobkin are your ammo, being launched from your blaster at your foes. But they are also your builders, and your health, so protect them at all costs. Because without them, those monsters might want to eat you next!
BlobkinBlaster will launch with five unique variants of Blobkin that you can collect: Blasty Blue, Explosive Red, Purple Lighting, Sickie Greenie, and Yellow Zapper.
Recycle the garbage around you into materials for powerful new weapons! With quick planning, you and the Blobkin can build Cannons, Decoy Blobkins and so much more.
But be careful, the monsters will target your buildings too!
The oceans are not a safe place Captain. Blobkin Blaster will ship with 12+ enemies and 3 major bosses. You’ll have to swap between your Blobkin to quickly take down these brutes; you may even need to use more than one!
Bosses will be big and mean, covering a large portion of your VR screen to really giving you that sinking feeling.

Colorful, fun, energetic... a balance of wave shooter action with a hint of tower defense strategy. I was also able to play seated... which is helpful for longer play sessions.

I'm a long time VR player spanning back to the Oculus DK2 and have played a lot of games over the years. This is a well polished wave shooter. I actually bought this for the kids (8 and 5) and they love it. Bit tired of zombies or modern day combat shooters so I loved the art direction taken here you can definitely tell a lot of passion went into making it. I'd really love to see a Quest version one day and also some kind of multi player coop.

A really great, polished, stylized shooter. I'm 2 hours in and still plenty more to play. Each level is themed and I think there's a good amount of replayability here to keep topping your old scores.

Fun little tower defense shooter. It took me a second to figure out the controls (I always forget about the grip button lol), but once you've got it going and the waves of enemies start rolling in, it's super fun! Really chaotic, and the bosses and enemies are unusual and cool.
Sometimes I wish the gun fired faster but I think that's part of the challenge, you have to aim at where they're gonna be, not where they are when you shoot.
Also- if you rally the blobkins at your feet they're a lot easier to defend, the fish come right up in your face and then they're easier to hit.
Lastly I'm suspicious of our little friend who leads us thru the levels, does he know something we don't?? lol.

One of the best waves
