Blightbound
The world lies in peril. Decades ago, a band of legendary warriors slayed the dreaded Shadow Titan after a long and ferocious struggle, but their celebration was short-lived. The Shadow Titan’s true intentions revealed themselves when from his broken husk flowed the Blight; a corrupting fog that alters any living creature exposed to its evil.
Blightbound is a multiplayer dungeon crawler that tasks three heroes to venture down from their mountain refuge to face the abominations of the Blight – a mysterious and corrupting fog that enshrouds the land.
Explore handcrafted dungeons, fight a terrifying cadre of mystical and monstrous enemies, grab valuable loot and recover fallen heroes to expand your roster of available warriors. Each player will fulfill a specific role on the team – warrior, assassin, or mage – to overcome colossal bosses and solve clever puzzles.
Can you collect and complete all the challenges, and conquer the Blight once and for all?
– Collect over 20 unique heroes, each with their own skill set, passive abilities, and fully narrated story to complete.
– Hundreds of unique items to loot and craft to improve each hero and alter their repertoire of attacks and abilities.
– Build out your refuge atop the mountain by recruiting new artisans to craft more items, fulfilling bounties, and training your heroes.
– Battle through three distinct lands, each with several dungeons to conquer, including the eerie Gravemark, the oppressive Underhold, and precarious Blood Ridge.
– Distinct class roles that reward team play and powerful ultimate abilities that charge from fulfilling your role. Block damage as a warrior, interrupt enemies as an assassin or heal your allies as a mage.
– Stunning mix of hand-painted characters and real-time 3D models and lighting effects.

Its a good game that doesn't have much content.
It really wants you to grind multiple characters to high level to get the higher level equipment, I've not done that but it doesn't look like the enemies scale with your level so you're getting better equipment to fight better versions of the same enemies, it doesn't seem worth it unless you've fell in love with the game.
3 classes play differently, but the 2 characters i've unlocked in the classes seem to be very minor variations, and its took 3 hours to unlock 2.
if it unlocked faster and levelling up was less of a grind this would be a very solid 5-10 hour game, as such its good but not great.

I got into this game around the time that it's development cycle was ending. It was a fun game, provided you could find two people to play with you.
This game was always really intriguing and had a fascinating lore/hero unlock mechanic, but it never meshed together outside of a 3-man coop scenario. There are puzzles you need a third to complete but the AI just seem ambivalent about helping.
It's abandoned at this point, so only pick it up if you have two homies.

It's a bit sad this game has such a bad reputation and mixed reviews. It may not be perfect, nor does it have the highest replay value. However, its constantly on massive sales for roughly three bucks. And for THAT its a great co-op experience.
I saw many reviews complain that this game isnt solo-friendly. After almost 20 hours i can say, that the bots are pretty good and playing solo isnt really an issue. It just isnt really fun. But the real bread and butter is playing with friends. The game even gives you a warning at the beginning that you should play with friends - do that!
