Fantastic game, whenever I try to play the game, it reminds me of how much important my life outside this virtual realm really is and crashes. thx to this game i was able to realize that there is more to life than just playing a video game.

First, if I had paid money with the understanding that at launch this would be a buy to play game, and had decided to support it by purchasing during early access, I would be SUPER FU*KING PISSED.
But I didn't. Because Early Access is a scam. There are only a small, small number of games worthy of support like that. I supported Dauntless because they publicly announced that they were removing loot boxes because they realized loot boxes are shit scams. I support Desolation because they seem to be trying to get a good product out there, and even if it ends up sucking they tried really, really hard.
Bless Online is not that. It has launched and failed already. They've rebuilt the game two or three times. Not changed. Rebuilt. Is it a shit show? Yes. It's like some jury-rigged monster. But as shit shows go it's not the worst. It's odd. Whomever did the open world art obviously spent a lot of time and effort to make you feel like you're in early Renaissance Spain or something. Just watching the NPCs can be great. The cities are beautiful. But...then you talk to the NPCs and you're suddenly wondering why they couldn't code it so at least when two NPCs talk they seem like they're having a conversation instead of one (I am not kidding) responding first to the question that's asked next, literally conversing in reverse.
So, yes, this game is a mind boggling mix of triple A wonder and crap ass cash grab.
That being said the combat system is fun. Aion players will find it somewhat familiar, and maybe even better. I like the classes. I like the customization. The story is okay. Not the best, but far from the worst. As a Free 2 Play game it IS a good game. But I get it. I really do. It isn't worth whatever huge amounts of money the Early Access people gave it, and as I said I would be angry as f*ck. And they deserve reparations. Even actual refunds. Or Steam credit. Or something. But for the rest of us who aren't saddled with that baggage it's a good game, worth trying, actually one of the better free to plays.
Just don't spend any money on it 'til you know you like it.

I was supposed to hate this game because everyone else seems to, but it ended up being quite the opposite. Coming from someone who no-lifed Riders of Icarus since its release, Bless Online is pretty much an improved & more enjoyable version of it. Everyone complaining about how poorly the game runs on their GOD TIER PCs, and here I am with a potato PC and pretty much toast processor & motherboard, and this game runs really smooth for me. No issues. Not only that, I ask any question in global chat, and a bunch of people immediately answer and help me. VS other MMOs I've played, this one isn't toxic *yet*.
Plus, I get to play as a giant tiddy cat lady, I'm happy xx

TLDR (As you kids put it) Ignore the haters, try it for yourself, You might like it.
Alright, I doubt most of you are going to read this but I will put my two cents out there because the company deserves it. I don't do reviews but there is a lot of hate surrounding this game for little to no reason and needs to be addressed.
First off, this game was early access.. Or a Soft launch during all this hate. And honestly it is unwarrented. It runs really well for a game that is not fully released and optomized.
Which is not to say that there can't be improvements, plenty can be improved upon, but the fact remains that they ARE working on it. their team is not massive and all the hate from all the people who are feeling so entiled over things that aren't theres that I am surprised they have been continuing to be upbeat and attempt to stay in contact, even if it is less than it once was.
I really REALLY like this game. I have made it my personal mission to give every MMO that comes out a fair shot so I have tried everything from Stupid, asian mmo grinders like Perfect Life and Forsaken life all the way to where I started with World of Warcraft And GUild Wars. I have spent time in Tera, Blade and Soul, Black desert... Etc.... The list goes on and on.
And honestly this game does a lot well.
The taming system is unique and what drew me in initially. Having to work for, tame and grow your mount personally, from nearly every creature or critter in the game is amazing, I love it. it isn't too complicated as some MMo's have made it their mission to be, nor is it too easy like many others where you just buy a mount or pet. I ADORE it.
The races feel good. I dislike the copy paste elf and human clones for either side but I adore the Pantera, Lupus and Marsule. I enjoy the variety they bring.
While yes there are some optomizatoin issues, when you aren't lagging the movement when going through the game FEELS good. It's dynamic, momentum feels like it is a thing. Sprinting and goign to a hard stop has weight and you skid, your body shifts when you turn suddenly. There is leaning and it adds SO much to feeling immersed.
The story isn't the best, but it is there, and it is still intreguing if you manage to get far enough in. You do have to work for it and many might get discouraged earlier on.
The armor actually feels like it is there for a reason. It isn't overly sexualized. (Unles syou pay for some ofthe costumes) It flows and it is layerd, it isn't painted on and I am greatful for that. Some older MMO's are just NOW starting to pry away from the painted on armor. (WoW) Many complain that it is drab and too ordinary but again, if you look at it from an actual immersion standpoint, it works with the actual theme of this game.
Aesthetically it looks and feels well put together and good. Much better than a lot of other, more... cartoony or sexualized MMO's *Cough* Tera.... Boob n Soul.. And so fourth.
Dungeons. At first I was a bit.. worried... But a friend and I managed to two man a story dungeon and I then learned that the diffiulty scales up from there which is really nice. Not being forced to find others to simply finish a quest and see content is refreshing. Many may think it takes away from community.. but I feel the MMO community has decgraded over the past 15 years and I have been shying away from it and the entitled pricks that want to through their weight around because they have to work for somethign for once in their lives.
I realize this is going to get me a lot of hate but I don't care. This game WAS doomed to fail not because of the developers, but because of the community and heir unrealistic standards as well as their over entitled attitude.
After waiting on this game for three years to release in the America's Im going to fully enjoy it and honestly, no one is going to stop me. I just hope others give it half a chance despite all these overly negative entitled reviews.
I have never once experienced a bug I couldn't fix myself or that wasn't created because of my actions. And the staff has been more than kind and helpful.
Give the game a shot, and ignore all the negative reviews, it might just surprise you.

Not sure why people don't like this game. It has good voice overs, story is decent, I'm getting 80+ FPS, looks decent, combat is crisp, you can turn off the camera shake. effects aren't to over the top. Its a decent mix of tab targeting and action style combat.
Personally I think there are just so many games out these days people have become hyper critical of everything, people have too many choices and they expect every game they try to be exactly like the best parts of every game they have ever played which is insane, impossible.
People need to learn to like games again, not focus on the things that aren't in a game or aren't done they way game X did it. Games are like relationships in a sense, how could they work if you expected everyone you meet to be like someone you liked before, then degrading them because they weren't like that person.
There is lots of fun to be had here if you allow it..........

I personally play this game for the sole reason that no other game out there can match the feeling of mage combat here. Weaving between elements, drawing on the residual energy of a spell impact to cast the next spell. Pulling meteors out of the sky with a deliberate swipe of your staff. Jumping into the air as a storm gathers around you and then throwing your staff to the ground as thunder echoes across the battlefield. Snapping your fingers and then standing an inch away from an incoming axe blade, frozen midswing. It's all just so satisfying and even with all the problems this game has (and there are many) i still find it worth playing just for that feeling.
To summarize, yes, the game is buggy (sometimes in hilarious ways) and unoptimized but it does do some things extremely well, and if you are a person willing to overlook some (well, a lot of) problems to scratch a particular itch, this game may be worth a look for you.
So what does it do well?
- Enemy difficulty: Finally an MMO that brings us back to the age when pulling a single mob can chip away a good amount of your health and pulling multiple is actually dangerous. You can die! Remember dying in the open world to trash mobs? I really missed it. It also has soloable bosses in the open world and entire solo dungeons which both require a good understanding of your skillset to defeat.
- Spell effects: The particle effects are flashy and very detailed, the audio is crisp and impactful, the screen distortion, shake and zoom are not the usual cheap aftereffects, it is uniquely tweaked to each individual spell and greatly increases the feeling of power without inducing nausea or being annoying. Ive played pretty much every other MMO out there and this one is definitely on my top-3 for spell effects.
- Combo design: Bless does not have the most innovative skill design. In fact most skills simply do flat damage. But the combination of stance swapping, chained skills, quick-changing tactics (think specs) between fights and the class-specific mechanics (element balance for mages) is really fun to learn and master and creates a very nice flow to combat when you get the hang of it. Each chain has a particular combat scenario where it shines, be it AoE, control, single target burst, single target sustained, long range, short range, etc. Cooldowns are tweaked well to encourage using your entire repertoire. Stance swapping can be used while casting a skill to empower that skill or used between skills to empower the next one, allowing a wide choice of combos, both from the stance you are leaving and the stance you are entering. Plus its just a smart way to condense a LOT of spells into just 6 buttons so you dont need modifier keys or cumbersome crap like that.
- Character creation: Very intuitive modeling tools for the face and body (drag and drop on the character itself), massive amounts of choices for eye lenses, colors, hairs, tattoos, scars.
Also, the world is not bad. Its very beautiful in some places. But its definitely a rollercoaster of polish. From weird out-of-place buildings on blurry ground, to lush forests and eastern-style little villages with awesome music and ambience that almost restores your faith in the game to boring deserts and forts to amazing flying cities.
I think if you go into this game with the mindset that you're playing a game in Beta (there will be FPS problems, translation problems, UI problems, etc.) you can overlook those things and truly appreciate the unique things that it has to offer. It's not a game for everyone but it may be a game for someone that wants something very particular and is willing to deal with some crap to get it.
Oh yeah, and dont get scared away by the new player experience. The game starts slow with a lot of dialogue and just flying and running from place to place but give it a few hours and it will eventually allow you to explore, hunt and dungeon crawl to your hearts content.

Been Playing Bless since it came out on Steam. have 1000 hours+ in game.
Have switched between servers to try to stay in the game, unfortunately they merged servers & lost several characters in this process. Now only option is 1 US server & 1 euro. if you are from anywhere else in the world be prepared for bad latency.
Its a fun grind to lvl. But not alot to do at max lvl.
Its a pvp based game. Castra is main pvp battleground. Depends on which faction you are on dictate this experience. On one side will be an instant queue but you will probably never win, . On other faction if you do not queue within first second of battleground being available you will probably never get in. so gathering combat points to get gear upgrades can be a painful experience.
You can also gather dungeon points for upgrades, the number of dungeons are limited. DP's can also be accumulated from hunt quests. killing 30-60 mobs, good for those of us who don't mind the grind.
Its not a pay to win game , but to expand inventory slots or to make more than 4 chars it will cost lumina - which can to a limited extent be available in game, but to get a decent amount will cost $$.
The game is still far from finished , with many Zones Completely empty, & 2 classes still to released.
The graphics are nice & some of the features are very fun. being able to tame a large variety of mounts & pets is a great addition.
Try it , im sure you'll love it, till you hate it at least:D
