Fun little game. Gameplay is pretty much limited to collecting coins, though at this price I can't really complain.
Starting off, I crashed a lot until I figured out the mechanics. Felt like a fledgling finally leaving the nest! My poor bird avatar. I'm surprised its neck is intact! I hit the ground so hard I glitched through the world.
I haven't played for very long yet, but I am enjoying the game so far. With some basic improvements this game could have a lot of potential.
Please note that this game is FAR easier with a controller, though you have to specifically enable it. Also there is no ability to invert X/Y axes. Also there's no way to start actually playing without using a keyboard or mouse.
Pros:
• Flight is smooth and well polished. There is a learning curve though, and it does take some time getting used to it.
• You can go VERY fast. I love the dedicated dive button (labeled as "fall").
• Art style is cute and simple, and doesn't get in the way of gameplay. It looks nice and it's easy to tell objects apart. I've had no trouble spotting coins from afar!
Cons:
• Limited gameplay and controls.
• Performance is rather poor for the given graphical level, even if you are running a decent video card (GTX 1650 Super).
• The game has no exit button (Just hit Alt+F4 I guess...).
• Music can get a little repetitive. Not a big deal though.
• Sometimes the camera glitches out. It's usually brief, though.
Suggestions to the devs for improvement:
• Add a "brake" button to slow down. Or perhaps some more detailed instructions on flight, as the hovering function seems to work as this.
• Landing could also be used as a gameplay element.
• You can't walk when on the ground, so it's possible to get stuck under objects like trees with low branches, or fences. There is a weird scooting-flapping thing that happens in these cases but it doesn't always work.
• Ability to remap controls.
• An exit button.
• Transparent clouds?
• Would be nice if the environment was a bit more dynamic. The cars in the city map, for example, don't really move.
• Birdie wants to do a barrel roll and loop the loop!
• Different birds with different flight characteristics?
• Racing or time trials would be fun!
• A Field of View (FOV) adjustment option somewhere in the menu would be nice.
• An option to change the flapping mechanism to one flap per button press would be great, and allow for more fine-tuning during flight.
• Add ability to invert X/Y for both movement and camera controls on controller.

I once played a $13 bird simulator and it was a terrible experience. I am now here writing a POSITIVE review about a 99. cent game that blows that game out of the water. This game is successful because it feels good and it has a fun factor to it...if the developer could add some colored rings you can pass through as well as separate missions on top of getting coins this could be even GREATER. This game was done right and sold at a nice price, four levels with super cool moving mechanics (simulation). You can glide like a bird and go through trees, go super high in the sky, it's all easy to use and last but not least...there are some cool physics in place when the bird (You) hit a tree or mountain haha. Good times!

It's... just the perfect game. The sheer emotion encapsulated by this game is difficult to describe, but I will attempt to regardless. After you are born into the world, there is a segment of your life that just goes by in a blur. Your mind has not yet developed enough to understand the world around you. And then, one day, you wake up. You feel your bed, you smell the air, when you step outside the breeze chills you and fills you with motivation. This feeling of waking up and realizing that you exist is the exact feeling that playing Bird Missions gave me when I clicked play for the first time. I was reborn, and this game was the mother.

It was interesting. I did find landing hard and usually crashed my feathered friend in order to collect some coins. A controller does work with this and I would recommend it over using the keyboard. An affordable flying game if you are looking for a flying game on a tight budget.

Bird missions is not a video game, it is an art piece. True passion and talent went into the creation of this masterpiece. The peace and serenity you feel when you fly though the stages is unmatched by any other experience known to man. I believe that this is a creation of god himself, under appreciated by too many, but overlooked by even more. For the cost of a coke you can find true meaning in life and start you new path. Just incredible. 11/10

I enjoy the flight but the realism behind how the bird flies doesn't quite cut it. I don't fully enjoy the cloud appearance either, but it does make me smile, birds are great!

I bought this game. I liked it very much. The main task is to fly on the map and collect coins. The flight technology itself is well implemented, everything looks pretty pretty
