I was lucky enough to recieve an early access key to Big Crown: Showdown. Not knowing much about this game I loaded it up with a few other streamers and we played it blind on stream for the first time. So all of us were on quite even footing. Let me say, I have not had quite this much fun playing a multiplayer in a long, long time. My face hurt at times from laughing so hard.
BCG is a fun little platformer where you run through a variety of maps with 1-3 other players. It's very easy to connect through steam, but it looks like there will be the ability to connect with people not on your firends list as well. There is no single player mode in this game right now. And I'm not sure there will be.
Together we four raced through maps, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly (lots of variable rules for each game) and did our best to survive until the end while ensuring that the other three did not.

This is definitely a game I'll be picking up for my sister this Christmas, as well as reccomending to people. Maybe it's a bit of nostalgia, but it reminds me a lot of the comradery and saltiness found in gaming on consoles with your friends back in the 90s and early 2000s. Yet it's still unlike any other platformer I've played.
So go and give this game a look over if playing with friends and having some salt-inducing shenanigans is just your cup of tea.

A great little party game to get you and your friends laughing. The levels are beautiful and the music is awesome! Online mode is a perfect addition to keep the fun coming.
This is sure to be a hit party game this Christmas!

big crown :showdown is a great party game, music is done real well and the levels are fantastic the fact you can adjust how the game plays i.e. screen scrolls faster, makes it even more fun to play by playing in different styles, the online multi player makes this game great, and I can see me playing alot over the holiday period

It's good but needs more players.
