Since I am 80 + years old, it is very important for me to train my reaction speed. I am very enthouiast about Beat Sabre to reach my goal. All people of my age should play this game regularly. Keep on slashing!

So I just realized that I'm coming up on 900 hours (870 Right now) of beat saber since about march 2019 after finding a picture of myself before and comparing to now. not only is it fun (duh) Beat saber changed my life in the a variety of ways:
1) No more back pain from car accidents due to strong back muscles
2) Started me streaming and making videos for twitch / YouTube, over 1300 hours so far and 3K follows. This in turn led me to meet very special people in my life.
3) lost 30 pounds, hit my target weight a long time ago and changed my physical appearance dramatically
4) gave me a sense of community through the other streamers and players I've met along the way.
5) provided the best outlet during tragic times for me
6) As my skill has grown, I've felt more confident because of it. Sure it's a game but to have stuck with something physical for that long is impressive and showed me I like to be active (previously sedentary lifestyle)
I built a reputation as an endurance saber slasher averaging anywhere from 8 to 16 hours of beat saber played in a stream multiple times a week. Even at the time of writing this I just finished another 8 hours of content creation and map/mods showcasing. Sufficed to say this moderately simple game not only had a major impact on my life, it changed it in ways that are so unexpected even typing it out sounds unbelievable, but it is. I'm very active on twitch, discord and the beat saber / gaming community now and recently started looking for ways I can assist or get more involved.
So, is the game good? - yup.
Should you buy it? - yup
Is it worth it? - The mileage you get out of it is up to you. For me, it was a ticket to most of the important things in my life.
-Update-
2k hours now and still hitting blok, now with Darth Maul style home built saber!

Let's be honest... There's a good chance you got a VR headset just for this game. And you're not alone.

I've been playing this game since May of 2018 (PSVR) and fell in love with it instantly!
Within the year I purchased the Samsung Odyssey+ to utilize Beat Saber's custom songs on PC and I would recommend this game to anyone out there wanting to have a good time and especially for those struggling with weight or chronic pain as I have in the past.
This game essentially cured years of atrophy and chronic pain I suffered with daily, I used the pain as motivation to focus my energy into playing my favorite tracks, one or two songs at a time with walls disabled at first until I was able to play for longer and longer, now I can play for well over an hour at a time! (Expert+ and Custom Song 9 Star difficulty)
Two years later, I'm no longer in a mobility scooter and I bike regularly and play VR 1-2 hours a day for exVRcise. I've lost 105 lbs to date and I owe most of it to the Beat Saber team, which is why I'll support them and every DLC they release, whether I'm a fan of the music or not.
I will forever be grateful for the second chance at life Beat Saber allowed me to have with the amazingly addicting gameplay and fantastic song selection (and of course custom tracks), easily gives this game a perfect score all around!!!
10/10
Here's 20 minutes of me having a blast on some new songs :D

I'm a senior and somewhat overweight after 6 months playing all the popular VR games and thoroughly enjoying them I realised waiting for Beat Saber to go on special was futile , so I paid the full price.
I don't regret it one bit , in only 3 days what seemed too hard is now easy and it is a very fun way to get a workout for someone in my age group as you can pace yourself very easily.
If you are on the fence like I was for a long time I highly recommend this game it is addictive fun and good for you.

Here we are a couple of months later and I weigh 9 kilo's less without any other changes to my lifestyle oh well probably a lot less Smith's Crisps as I'm not sitting down all the time now.
I really can not recommend this came any more highly it is worth every cent. I feel the trick is to install the mods and play music you really enjoy and it never feels like a chore just great fun like with any game you like.

Since you obviously already know how awesome this game is and how you should get it immediately after buying a VR, to make this review actually somewhat useful, here's a good chocolate lava cake recipe for you:
Ingredients Of Chocolate Lava Cake
135 Gram Dark chocolate
95 gram Butter
100 gram Icing sugar
2 each Egg yolks + whole eggs
35 gram Flour
How to Make Chocolate Lava Cake
1. Pre heat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
2. In a microwaveable bowl add chocolate and butter. Melt it. (You can melt using the double boiler method too.)
3. In another bowl whisk together sugar and eggs.
4. Mix together the chocolate-butter mixture with the sugar-eggs mixture.
5. Fold in the flour.
6. Strain the mixture to remove any lumps.
7. Keep this in the fridge for 5-7 minutes to chill.
8. Pour the batter in greased ramekins.
9. Bake for 9-10 minutes.
10. Serve with whipped cream / vanilla ice cream or fresh fruits.
