Battle Brothers is a turn based tactical RPG which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory? The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat. Manage a medieval mercenary company in a procedurally generated open world.

An die Entwickler und alle Anderen die es lesen mögen!
Überraschend habe ich auf GameStar gelesen dass "EINMANN" Projekt Battle Brothers in Alleingang übersetzt hat!
Zunächst einmal! Schande an die Deutschen Entwickler, welche trotz flehen vieler Spieler Ihr Spiel nicht übersetzt haben.
Es geht nicht, blablabla! Es ist zu Aufwendig! Blablabla!
Ich bin sogar vom Hocker gefallen, als ich lass, dass das besagte GENIE es Ihnen sogar Angeboten hat!
Meine Reaktion wäre es, einem geschenkten Gaul, schaut man nicht ins Maul.
Lass Ihn machen, testen wir Intern, ob das Hand und Fuß hat und dann können wir es unter seiner Feder dem Spieler Präsentieren.
Ich bin absolut sicher, es würden ein paar Nachzügler sich das Spiel im Sale nochmal holen und etwas Geld ist immer noch besser als gar nichts!
Würde es sich um ausländische Firma handeln, geschenkt! Aber in seiner Muttersprache es nicht zu Veröffentlichen? Für mich definitiv nicht Nachvollziehbar!
Aber die Zeit lässt sich ja bekanntlich nicht zurückdrehen! Was aber gemacht werden kann.
Ist die besagte Übersetzung, oder den MOD nachträglich und umständlich allem zur Verfügung stellen!
Ihr solltet mit dem Entwickler der Mod mal sprechen, es kann ja nicht schaden!
Was denkt die Community darüber? Habe ich Recht, oder nicht? Würden die Leute die partout das Spiel boykottiert haben es sich jetzt nachträglich holen?
Ich war nicht glücklich, als ich es damals erworben habe, über die fehlende Sprache.
Und es war auch recht schnell zu simpel.
Trotzdem hat es mich irgendwie in seinen Bann gezogen.
Ich war ein wenig wie damals in "Death or Glory, Das Erbe von Morgan"
Schade das es so kurz war und es keinen Nachfolger gab!
Macht es bei einem möglichen Battle Brothers II besser!

Dicke Kreaturen angreifen wie in anderen Spielen? Viel Spaß beim Tod!
Der Feind sind 3 Leute mehr? Viel Spaß beim Tod!
Doch nicht nur der Tod lauert um jede Ecke. Auch eine Reputation muss aufgebaut werden, Sold und Essen bereitgestellt werden und darüber hinaus noch die Eigenheiten der Söldnertruppe berücksichtigt werden.
Kurz gesagt: Ich liebe es!

Looks like I'm addicted to this game. Challenging fights, the chase for better equipment, optimize the company, ...I love it. Unfortunately the game crashes during saves and what leads to that sometimes a savegame can't be used. Disappointing but I try to deal with it.

One of my absolute favorite games. You HAVE TO use the mod legends and add also the mod SSU or rotu (only one of these two) to get the best possible experience. Check for the discord for battle brothers legends.

Non-stop-fun, and 100% replayability. Indiegame with real good price/content ratio. Always fun starting new campaigns. Maybe frustrating for people who don't like to read that much (like real reading with understanding and all that stuff u know :) ) but you can skip the text passages.
Got a great wiki. Recommend Build tutorials for all beginners, that helped me a lot to understand the perks and percentages of leveling.
