Day one review (to be updated).
The game has a few bugs and errors but over all I find it fantastic! The gameplay shown in the videos and screenshots is exactly what you're getting so I won't go into detail about it. These are my main takeaways after almost 2 hrs of gameplay:
1. The power-up which shrinks the size of the others paddles, or whatever they're called, is terrible. When it is active you have no chance whatsoever to dogde balls coming from the sides so if a ball comes in a steep angle you instantly loose.
2. The power-up that rotates the board affects every player, personally I think it would make more sense if it let the person who activated it stay still. Another problem is that if you are rotated to a place where a ball is a few pixels from the edge, you can't dogde the ball and instantly die.
3. At 1 AM (Swedish time), people stopped queing and there was no way to get into an online match. I believe this problem is very temporary, however.
4. There are A LOT of clipping issues. I hope these will be resolved but if they are not this game will loose my recommendation quickly. It's playable but in my two hours maybe 50% of my deaths were due to clipping issues.
5. The biggest issue of them all. THERE IS CURRENTLY ONLY ONE SERVER, IN POLAND. This is supposed to be a temporary issue, I think, but if you live outside of the EU this game will probably be completely unplayable.
The game is pretty nice even considering the flaws, however. I think most of the issues will be fixed and since the game only is about a day old. It might get old quite quickly, but who knows?

I like balls. When in-game, you get smacked with a lot of balls. But since the newest update you can no longer play with small balls in lobby menu, very sad. Still good game though, many balls.

Works OK on Steam Deck without any tinkering (default configuration). It would be great to have controller support but it works with the right touch pad input relatively well.
The menu UI could use some work and there is no Steam Cloud.
Overall pretty nice and unique game. Had some fun in multiplayer with it (although a bit harder to be competitive on the SD) and for this price I highly recommend it.

This game is something special. It's really easy for everyone to understand and pickup, but with 'luck' it's incredibly hard to be consistant. Sadly the playerbase is the only thing letting this game down. It's rare to play multiplayer games with another actual player. But bots are good enough that it doesn't matter that much.
This game still being updated shows that the dev is the person who loves this game the most, even though the playerbase isn't that big. For the price it is, it's extremely good value. A lot of 'simple' fun and I highly recommend picking it up if you are thinking about it.

I would not recommend this game in it's CURRENT state but it IS close to being good. Here are some suggestions to make the game more fun/fair
1. NERF the earthquakes because in it's current state the earthquakes are unbearable and almost always gets you out because it is too shaky,
2. Make a way where you can host a private server and set the password so you can play with your friends online. (in this the person who hosts the private server would be using their internet to host)
3. Make some balancing fixes as the shrink power-up needs to be somewhat nerfed and controlling the board to hit the ball is somewhat slow.
This game has huge potential though, and I am looking forward to the updates.

A great, addictive and relaxing game. I really recommend to all battle royal and Tetris 99 fans. :)
