This game supports the workshop, you can make your own levels, or you can play the excellent levels of other players.
About the GameBallex² is a third-person rolling ball game, the sequel to Ballex. You will control a ball, enjoy the scenery of the four seasons, overcome obstacles and solve various puzzles.
9 Unique Balls
Ballex² adds three additional balls comparing to Ballex. All types of balls with their own characteristics, players need to make good use of the characteristics of different balls to clear the level.
Control Modes
Ballex² supports two control modes.
1. Classic four-direction view: Similar to Ballex, you will use the arrow keys to control the movement of the ball, the A and D keys are used to rotate the viewing angle 90 degrees clockwise and counterclockwise, and the space key can be used to look down.
2. Free-look view: Similar to some third-person games, you can use the WASD key to control the movement of the ball, the mouse to adjust the direction of the view, and the space bar to lock the viewing angle to a multiple of 45 degrees, which is convenient for passing some specific roads.
Physical Systems
Ballex² uses Havok as the physics engine, which can bring a more stable and efficient physics simulation experience. At the same time, the feel of controlling the ball has also been adjusted for a long time and has reached a more comfortable state.
Workshop is Available
Ballex² supports in-game access to the Steam Workshop, where you can play excellent levels made by other players, and you can also use the level editor to make your own levels.
Level Editor
Ballex² offers a more advanced level editor, which you can get as a free DLC. Not only can you use the assets provided in the editor to build levels, but you can also import your own models, pictures, and music to create more personalized levels. At the same time, you can use Javascript to write your own game logic, and even create levels of completely different game types.

As of right now the game seems to be in the early access stage, but it does its job enough. This project is quite massive anyway. Ballex2 is a sequel to Ballex which was released a few years ago, and it's definitely more functional than the previous game. This game is quite customizable as well, offering you many helpful FPS settings (all the way up to 999) added with tons of resolution settings. Controls of Ballex2 are quite weird compared to the first game, so if you got used to Ballex1, this game will require you to get used to brand new controls, but they're not the worst either, but the controls of the steel ball aren't really the best... but it's supposed to be a very heavy ball I suppose. Anyways, the controls are okay from my perspective, and multiple players have started making some speedrun records. Level design of official levels are also quite nice, interesting puzzle designs and skill based sections. One of the most exciting features of this game is the ONLINE MODE, you can play this game online with other players! Graphics of this game are quite good too, but they also look a little bit crispy but that's not a big deal. The game also has some nice music that fits the entire game like it should be. Obviously there are some problems with this game, there are some bugs but the developer is actively fixing them (you can see the changelogs). One final thing I can say about this game is the level editor of Ballex2... It is quite complicated and requires a lot of learning (let's be honest, nobody reads level editor tutorials, lol, but maybe that's just me, and I'M NOT blaming the dev here). I think the editor does its job and there's a lot you can do in it compared to ballex1's editor, like custom audio, lightning, textures and much more. There's nothing else I can say about Ballex2 for now since it's not exactly finished yet, but it's already good enough and it personally brought a good experience for me. I am looking forward towards the development of this game, thank you MushREB!

Exceptionally good implementation of Ballance to modern gaming era. Ballex 2 has perfect graphics, smooth gameplay and a comprehensive level editor with Steam workshop. Mushreb Games somehow managed to create a game... better than Ballance... in every way! Thank you.

Well optimized for competitive runs, even with slower CPU than currently suggested minimum Intel Core i5-9500.
My hardware:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K (4c/8t)
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 2133 MHz, dual-channel
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970, 4 GB
Display: 1080p 144Hz, G-sync capable
Settings: Everything lowest except FSR off. Doesn't look garbage.
FPS: Mostly above 144 at least for the first few levels, menu is locked to 60. At medium quality still got over 100. Spiky frametimes though, and FPS limiters (in-game, driver or RivaTuner) somehow made it worse. Luckily, V-sync at 100 or 120 Hz refresh rate made the gameplay run buttersmooth.
In summary, 6 CPU cores for rolling this ball is definitely not needed. Even when limited affinity to only 2 cores they were still not fully saturated.

As a player who has already finished ballance and ballex2,I was very excited to try out this game.Ballex2 starts with a relatively more logical difficulty(thr game starts relatively easier than ballex1) than its predecessor,also the graphics and musics are awesome.
Still waiting for the next major update to try the online mode,but would definitely recommend it for anyone who has played ballex,ballance or like mind and puzzle games.Big thanks for the developpers,keep up the awesome work!
