At Dead Of Night
At Dead Of Night is part horror film, part horror game and part ghost hunt. It seamlessly blends live-action and graphics to create a unique immersive horror experience like no other.
Maya is a student trapped in a remote hotel run by a psychopath called Jimmy Hall. Jimmy has tied up Maya’s friends and locked them in their rooms, with evil intentions. Maya has managed to escape, but Jimmy is on the prowl looking for her. However, to get him to release her friends, Maya must uncover Jimmy’s dark secret. Using an ancient ghost voice receiver she finds, Maya must communicate with the ghosts of Jimmy’s past, who materialise around the hotel and gradually reveal their story.

There’s now a version optimised for Steam Deck – before download go to settings > properties > Betas and select ‘steamdeck – optimised for Steam Deck’ from the drop down menu. This version is yet to be reviewed by Steam (they reviewed the normal non-optimised game).

Wer kein Problem mit Jump-Scares und Lust auf eine kleine Herausforderung hat, wird hier auf jeden Fall seinen Spaß haben.
Das Game bietet Nervenkitzel, eine knifflige Geister-Rätsel-Detektiv-Jagd und ist vom Gameplay her nicht besonders anspruchsvoll, sodass man sich nicht erst umständlich in irgendwelche Mechaniken einarbeiten muss.
Ein schönes Spiel, wenn man sich gerne mal vor Schreck vom Stuhl schmeißen lassen will. :D

Ein wirklich fantastisches Spiel. Der Horror ist real und neben der spannenden Story, die das Spiel erzählt ist das Gameplay extrem gut gemacht. Man ist permanent angespannt und muss langsam herausfinden, wie man sich vorantasten kann und was man tun darf und was nicht. Absolute Empfehlung für dieses Meisterwerk!

it's my favorite ever horror game, no matter if I watch or play myself (I've watched livestreams of this game for the last 5 years, finally I have enough courage to play myself :D). I am shitting my pants every time, in the best way possible. Thankfully I know the story already, if I had to discover everything by myself, I would turn into a crying bundle of fear. The atmosphere of not knowing when Jimmy will hit you is the absolute best and for a one person developing team, this game is absolutely a masterpiece in my eyes.
