I'll be totally honest: I want to like this game, and I cannot NOT recommend it, but personally I have been very disappointed. A friend and I purchased this game back in 2016 and we had a lot of fun. It was janky, did look unfinished and had some connection issues...but it was fun.
I was stranded on the Moon without a booster at some point and had to reverse-engineer everything to make the small shuttle work, while under the constraints of a) no atmosphere or oxygen, b) no valid energy production and c) almost no resources. And while it took almost two hours to make it back, it remains one of the best, most vivid experiences that I had had in games. This was because while I had seriously underplanned the trip, I still had the possibility of fixing it and making it back by playing clever and resourceful.
Now, why am I saying this? Because when I learned about the ending, I was just disappointed. The fact that everything, the entire system of vibrant planates and mysteries, was just made up by my ship that didn't want me to leave my coma feels like a prison instead of the freedom I experienced while playing this game. It just felt wrong. No matter how much fun I had, this ending was nullifying all of it - the achievements, the setbacks, it all amounted to nothing, because it was just thought-out by the ships computer. Yes, yes, you can say this about the game itself, I know. And still, subverting expectations in this way feels wrong.
Despite this, I came back a couple months ago to try it out again. The cycle of exploration, resource-refining and building stuff just feels good enough. But I was immidiately greeted with myltiple event-related things: A Halloween-like decoration for refining, Christman presents lying around everywhere, and more little gadgets and doodas that basically screamed "notice me, I am an event with no gameplay or story implications!"
And that was when I couldn't even hope to have any immersion in this game. I closed it, this time for good. If you just want a chill builder that doesn't care about proper immersion or gameplay that leads to a at least somewhat meaningful ending, then this might be for you. I kinda want my games to have some struggle and to not laugh at me, saying "Hehe, this was all for nothing, you fool" at the end.

Definitiv empfehlenswert.
