One of the most fun racing games ive played. It is really the driving around and thinkingg about stuff in the free roam, that makes this game so nice. However the last few cars really fell terrible to drive, would still buy it again

Stimmungsvoll, unterhaltsam, spannend. Art of Rally macht einfach Spaß! Mit den VR Hack kann man wunderbar die Vorteile des freien Umschauens in diesem Spiel nutzen und ist nicht an eine fixierte Kamera gebunden. Grandioses Helikopter-Gefühl was auch spielerisch Sinn macht.

Macht vom ersten Moment an Spaß durch die Landschaft zu heizen, und motiviert zum weiter fahren. Strecken, Umgebung inkl. Fankurven bringen gutes Feeling.
Spiel läuft gut auf dem AYN Thor max.

This game is wildly underrated. If you love Rally, chasing the clock, breathtaking lighting and speed - this is your game. It cuts all the luxury crap away and leaves you with what matters: A car, a road and a clock. Lay it down!
Also, this game needs a successor BADLY! Its earned it! We need multi-location custom rallys, longer stages, mixed weather, day-night cycles, more cars, more locations, more details!

I’ve been playing Art of Rally in short bursts, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite go-to games when I have just 15–30 minutes to spare. The stylized, minimalistic visuals immediately caught my eye—each stage feels like racing through a living postcard, where the clean shapes and atmospheric colors let you focus entirely on the driving rather than cluttered details. It’s like zooming through a painting that reacts to your every turn.
What really makes it click for me is how easy it is to jump in for just one or two stages. There’s no need to block out an hour; you can pick a stage, try to beat your own best time, and call it a session. That bite-sized approach keeps me coming back: I don’t feel overwhelmed, and every run feels purposeful. The tracks themselves are varied enough—forests, mountains, winding coastal roads—so it never feels repetitive, even if I only play a few stages each time.
Driving different cars feels genuinely distinct. Lighter classics dart through corners with a twitchy excitement, while the more powerful beasts demand a steadier hand and precise throttle control. I found the difficulty curve spot-on: early cars let you get comfortable with basics like left-foot braking and Scandinavian flicks, while later vehicles push you to refine those skills without ever tipping into frustration. If you want a looser setup or a few assists, they’re there; but if you crave a challenge, the game rewards learning each car’s quirks.
On the flip side, the top-down perspective might not satisfy those after full-cockpit immersion or hardcore simulation. There’s no lengthy story or multiplayer mode that I’ve found especially deep—but for me, the focus on pure, distilled rally racing is exactly the appeal. Chasing personal bests on leaderboards and tweaking your approach to shave off tenths of a second keeps the replay loop engaging.
In short, Art of Rally is perfect for anyone who loves stylized visuals and tight driving mechanics, especially when you only have brief windows to play. It feels like a series of espresso shots of rally fun—short, intense, and leaving you wanting just one more run. Highly recommended if you enjoy learning different cars, tackling varied stages, and appreciating a beautiful, uncluttered aesthetic.

Finally, a beautiful racing game with a clear menu structure, good physics, no grinding mechanics, no cringe dialogues, a little bit of dumb fun, knowledge, and genuine love for rally sport and automotive history. Coming from the Crew and the NfS series, no discount below 100% is going to get me back into these series. I am focusing on beauty, good game design, performance, and smaller developers now.
And so should probably you. My opinion. Your mileage may vary. You will get at least 20 hours of beauty out of this, if you are in a hurry. If you are not, see you in the leaderboards.
