Among Us
Play with 4-10 player online or via local WiFi as you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone! Originally created as a party game, we recommend playing with friends at a LAN party or online using voice chat. Enjoy cross-platform play between Android, iOS and PC. Win by completing tasks to prepare the ship or ejecting all Impostors. React quickly to undo the Impostor’s sabotages. Check the Admin map and Security cameras to keep tabs on other Crewmates. Report any dead bodies immediately to start discussion of who the suspected Impostor is. Call emergency meetings to discuss suspicious behavior. Vote to eject suspected Impostors. Kill crewmates and frame bystanders. Pretend to run tasks to blend in with the crewmates. Sneak through the vents to quickly move about the ship. Use sabotages to cause chaos and divide the crew. Close doors to trap victims and kill in private.

Even my wife was interested to play the game. It's huge sucess is related to its social mechanics, which are fun to play with friends or with random people over internet. Devs reinvented the old an known Mafia table role-playing game and its now fresh and feels brand new.
Besides, Among Us references very popular genre of sci-fi, where a story happens inside a spaceship traveling to new home, e.g. Passengers movie.
If you love social games, this might be your choice for the next game to play.

Honestly, for better or for worst, I really liked this game. It has been a while since I last played it but still, with 300 hours on pc and another 100 hours on phone probably I had a blast playing this game, it has changed a lot since when I actively played it but the game helped me a lot with talking to other people even years later. This might sound cheesy I admit, but it is true. I hope that anyone who reads this has a good day/night wherever you are.

So, it's among us in 2025. Is it still fun? Yea it is. There's some new stuff, like a new map, some new roles, and a new mode nobody plays, but it's still the same old among us from 2020/2021. Go to a discord server and find some peeps to play with. I do wish the game had voice chat as it'd allow for people to find public lobbies more easily rather than going to external places, but overall the game is still really good.
This review was originally made in 2024, so I'll mainly say what new stuff was added after, which isn't much. You go new cosmetics... new lobby finding that is, better? It makes joining lobbies easier at least with code. And that's about it. I do hope they figure out voice chat eventually, especially since a death note game that is also a social deduction game has that. But hey it could be, could have nothing. But yea, I'm keeping my hopes up for among us to get better and better.

Pure chaos and suspicion blended together. One moment you're quietly getting tasks done, the next you're being accused of murder for 'walking a bit sus'. Every round is a hilarious blend of betrayal, bluffing, and pure panic. Complete for ruining friendships in the best possible way. 10/10 absolute top-tier fun.

The brief time period it was at its peak player time was probably one of the most exciting and fun times i had.
The game now? There are still the common brain dead crewmates, who just say: "Orang" and instantly with no explanation vote orange out, but thats just part of the experience. Every now and then you'll find fellow players who, the same as you try their best to play logically and give everyone a chance to defend themselves, those lobbies are worth staying in for an hour.
Then theres lobbies where the Host is friends with someone and they meta game. That is the moment you curse them in chat and leave, too many times have i been impostor and been exposed by the friend of the victim, telling them irl or a vc that im the imp.
Even though the game is clearly not in its prime anymore, its still a fun game to play every now and then, game size is around 500mb so you dont have to worry about deinstalling some of your other games. Trolling is a whole nother part that is fun to do, trolling as in imitate being the imp as crewmate or just some stupid shit.
8/10 would recommend getting vote kicked without a reason again

Among Us took the gaming world by storm, proving that sometimes, the simplest games create the most unforgettable moments. Whether you're completing tasks like a diligent crewmate or plotting deception as an imposter, this game is all about strategy, teamwork, and betrayal.
The gameplay is easy to understand but leads to intense, hilarious, and sometimes frustrating interactions. One moment, you're quietly fixing wires, and the next, you're passionately defending yourself in an emergency meeting after being falsely accused. The mix of deduction and deception makes every round unpredictable and fun.
What makes Among Us special is the social experience. It thrives on communication (and miscommunication), whether you're playing with friends or random players. The joy of convincing others to vote someone off, only to realize they were innocent, creates endless entertainment.
Visually, it's simple and colorful, with cute character designs that contrast the brutal reality of getting ejected into space. The sound design, from the satisfying task completion beeps to the ominous kill animations, adds to the tension.
While Among Us is at its best with a group of friends, public lobbies can be hit-or-miss, depending on how people play. The game has also evolved with new roles, maps, and customization options, keeping things fresh for long-time players.
In conclusion, Among Us is a fantastic party game that blends strategy and chaos in the best way possible. It’s proof that great multiplayer experiences don’t need complex mechanics—just a solid concept and the right group of people. If you love games that test friendships and create hilarious memories, this one’s a must-play!
