Among the Sleep is a psychological horror game where you get to play as a two year old child. You get to experience the world through the eyes of a toddler with a vivid imagination that could easily scare your pants off. Welcome to an atmospheric horror game with an eerie feeling of helplessness. You are abruptly awoken one night and find the house completely dark and empty. You start searching for your mother, but she is nowhere to be found. What you find is a teddy bear that warns you that everything is not all right and that it is crucial to find out what is going on.

Kinder nehmen die Welt anders wahr. Die zu überwindenden Alpträume grenzen sehr nah an der Realität und neben dem Ende, das fast alles aufklärt und es somit ein neues Erlebnis ist, das Spiel nochmals durchzuspielen, gibt es noch eine Alternative im Museum, die euch einen ganz anderen Blickwinkel auf euren "liebsten Freund" beschert.
Die Level und Rätsel sind nicht zu groß und schwer und es gibt automatisierte Speicherpunkte, damit man nicht jedes Level von vorn beginnen muss, falls man etwas zu unvorsichtig war.
Wer alle Achievements bekommen möchte, sollte sich einfach nur gut umsehen - die Zeichnungen sind zwar manchmal etwas versteckt, aber dennoch ziemlich offensichtlich platziert.

a beautifully crafted, heart-wrenching game that should come with a few trigger-warnings, maybe (I am personally not bothered but given the topics at hand, some may benefit from a warning, so google if necessary). I had a lot of fun with the puzzles and the design, even though some mechanics may be a little repetitive.
BUT! beware that if you do not play this in one go, you may have issues with when this game does auto-saves. I started the game late at night and didn't think about the possibility of not being able to finish it. So when i solved a puzzle and saw the auto-save icon in the corner, I assumed i would be fine. But when i booted up the game again, I wasn't where I had been before and I was soft-locked out of the area I needed to go, therefore having to restart the entire level - which isn't a huge deal because now I knew the patterns/puzzles and could catch up with my progress fairly quickly. But this makes me stress that you should definitely try to play this in one go, just to avoid any issues with check points.

Kurzes aber intensives Spielerlebnis.
Die Story ist wirklich sehr gut und am Ende hat man einen enormen "Wow"-Effekt.
Stimmung ist auch super.
Kann ich definitiv empfehlen!
