Really good homemade-feeling platformer. You play as a girl named Kate who has to save Santa as everyone else cheers for you.
Lots of secrets and stuff to find
Nice health system using stackable candy canes.. I tried to type an explanation of this but I don't think the English language has an easy way to say it.. I'll try again: You see three candy canes on the screen but they change color once you collect more than the three you have, and you can eventually get up to 9. Nah, still bad. It's a simple concept but it felt more rewarding than a typical heart HP system where you see them all on screen at once
The visuals were nice
Neat assortment of power-ups
Some good level designs; traversal through the levels is exciting and varied -- there's lots to jump on, climb, bounce on (including chained bounces), etc.
Occasional frustrating level designs -- especially toward the end of the second-to-last level where everything is coming at you at once (including fireballs from countless wizards from every direction)
I really enjoyed the tower level and the water level
Good fun. Sometimes stressful. Recommended for Christmas or any other time of the year.
