Almost My Floor: Prologue is the first chapter of an upcoming horror-themed point’n’click adventure, it’s include start three locations and 40 minutes of first glimpse into the events of the story.
This is a story of a long way back home. A usual evening turned out to be a dreadful adventure that’s one can’t simply get out of. An infinite maze of floors and stairways will not let its prey escape unscathed. All that dwells inside exists between fiction and the reality. It is time to face the monsters of your subconsciousness, meet the other house residents and determine their fate. But the most important thing is to escape the depths of terror… and try to remain sane afterwards.

Almost My Floor: Prologue Hat einen hübschen einzigartigen Artstyle der stark an Comics aber auch Darkest Dungeon erinnert. Das Gameplay ist eher ein Point & Click, Visual Novel mit einigen unterschiedlichen Minigames, die aber nicht wirklich nennenswert sind. Wir können häufig auf diverse Arten sterben und uns entscheiden ob wir gute oder böse Lösungsansätze finden möchten. Ich habe mich für den guten Weg entschieden und wurde bisher auch entsprechend belohnt, da diese auch komplexer und aufwändiger wirkten. Cooles prinzip, wenig frustfaktor im vergleich zu ältern Point & Click spielen, leider nur auf englisch verfügbar aber sogar die Cutszenes sind vertont!
Mir hat tatslich nur wirklich der Horror aspekt gefehlt, es hat sich eher wie ein eldritch Adventure angefühlt und war noch sehr seicht.
