Alien Attack: Pocket Edition
You are a brave space trooper. You are here to destroy a lot of aliens. Your mission is to clear an enemy sector.
If they keep going, fight them as long as you can. There are only a couple thousands of them, so it’s not a big deal… probably.
Your company has developed a brand new weapon that absorbs dead enemies’ energy and makes you able to kill more and more of them. And you’re so lucky to test it.
You have to return alive to deliver gathered results.
Dead enemies drop some microcircuits (if not damaged) that can be implanted into your ship to improve its durability. They can also drop some stolen from humans written-off ammunition if they have some.
Main features:
— 5 playable characters: unlock all of your squad members to exterminate every enemy in your sector.
— Challenging gameplay: not so hard, but not so easy!
— 5 epic boss battles: they want to tear you apart into pieces. But can you outsmart them?
— 12 achievements: you can compete with your friends and be the coolest guy!
— Retro atmosphere: pixel-art visuals, chip sounds and music… all of these brings up some nostalgic feelings… probably.
— Xbox controller support: you obviously should try it if you have one!

Fun little high speed Galaga-esque shooter with choice early-'80s graphics and sounds, but needs a little TLC. Can't choose resolution or window, so the game defaults to fullscreen. On my 21:9 setup this is making my ship invisible along the bottom. I need to window this game, buddy! ALT + Enter does nothing. Also needs a little explanation of what the powerups are. You unlock new ships as you play, but how? A little explanation and some basic graphic options would go a long way.

Excellent game! The space-shooter I didn't know I wanted.
p.s. the power-ups only work once but you upgrade your main weapon after beating bosses. Also you can unlock new ships. Sound effects are perfect.

Nice addition to the franchise. Not innovative enough to be called Alien Attack 2, but good enough to exist on its own. Still feels a bit too similar to the first part though. Vertical screen limitation is not something that game really needs and it looks more like a mobile game PC port. Still had a lot of fun with it.

Good game for the price, got at least 2hrs game play out of it, high amount of replay ability. However some bosses could be manipulated to be easily defeated and the power-ups, apart from the life points, are pretty useless. Worth playing though.

it's not as easy as you think, it will test you. Non the less it is a well made little game that is enjoyable to play, after you get the hang of it.
