Narracja gry jest wielowarstwowa i zawiła, ale w chaosie da się odnaleźć harmonię i przy głębszej analizie gracz otrzyma klucz do rozwikłania tajemnicy fabularnej. Cieszy mnie fakt, że wciąż istnieją studia gier, które nie wybierają sztampowych motywów, nie korzystają z pewnych rozwiązań czy mechanik, a obierają unikatowe ścieżki, które chociaż chwilami zakrawają nawet pod groteskę, są intrygujące i surrealistyczne. Wszystko w świecie Alana Wake'a balansuje na krawędzi snu a jawy, mroku a światła, zła i dobra. Pełna złudnej polaryzacji gra jest mimo wszystko zwarta i złożona fabularnie. Jedyne na co mogę narzekać to dosyć powtarzalny gameplay i chwilami nużące hordy przeciwników, ale Remedy wiedziało co robi, gdy podsuwało pod nos nowsze, co ciekawsze rozwiązania, żeby ten proces nie był, aż tak powtarzalny. Great game, the way of storytelling is just marvelous. With the exception of the facial models, the game still looks very good. It's a pity that the second part is only available on the Epic Games.
