Build your empire with one of six unique factions, ranging from the militant Vanguard to the dinosaur-riding Amazons and the cyborg-zombies of the Assembly. Progress through each faction’s missions using your wits, military strength and diplomacy, exploring planetary ruins and encountering other survivors as you unravel the history of a shattered civilization. Fight, build, negotiate and technologically advance your way to utopia in a deep single player campaign, on random skirmish maps, and against friends in multiplayer.

Ich finde das Spiel sehr abwechslungsreich und strategisch gut. Ich habe bei Planetfall auch nicht den Eindruck wie bei AOW 4, dass die KI ohne Ende cheatet. Ich spiele Planetfall inzwischen viel lieber als AOW4. Das ist mir mit den ganzen DLCs zu überladen und die Balance ist aus meiner Sicht komplett aus den Fugen geraten. Ich finde Planetfall viel besser ausbalanziert und dadurch macht es mir mehr Spaß.

Leichter Einstieg und trotzdem komplex genug für ordentlich Langzeit-Motivation!

Ich mag, dass man schnell ins Spiel einsteigen kann, aber trotzdem immer wieder taktisch gefordert wird. Jede Partie bietet Herausforderungen, die Spaß machen, ohne zu überfordern. Klar gibt es bessere Titel - aber wer mal ein anderes Szenario sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig.
