簡単に紹介すると、ファンタジーの世界観が題材の戦闘面に重きを置いたターン制4Xストラテジー、という感じのゲームです。
特筆すべきは前述のとおり戦闘で、SRPGのような形の戦闘になっています。
これだけでもFEなどのSRPG好きにおすすめできるのですが、ユニットごとの性能を考慮した部隊運用、装備やスキル(魔法)によるカスタマイズの楽しさも生まれています。
4X系のゲームではあるのですがXCOMやFEが好きな方はより楽しめるゲームだと思います。
現在同シリーズの4も発売されていますが、今遊んでも非常に面白いゲームです。
最初は簡単な難易度でも構わないので、ランダムマップで小さめのマップ、少なめの人数でプレイして雰囲気や仕様を確認し、その後好きな難易度にてプレイするのがおすすめです。
