Aegis Defenders

Played this cooperatively, and gladly I have enjoyed it. It is a weird mixture between tower defense and exploration, and it just works.
The only 2 things I have to criticize are:
1) At middle game, the difficulty spikes inmensely. Why? I don't know, but the mechanics are not much balanced there.
2) Voice acting is like pressing a random button between five options. It feels terribly disconnected. At the ending, even text seems like a bad formulated translation.
Overall it is a really fun game to play, if you don't mind 300 AGREED per hour.

This game gets a little bit repetitive but some moments can get difficult especially when trying to play solo and swap between characters mid combat.

A cute, enjoyable little adventure game which consists of short platforming sections followed by tower defence sections. There’s an imbalance of difficulty between the two – you’re likely to find yourself coasting through the platforming, barely paying attention, before scrambling around desperately trying to perform maintenance and build new structures during the tower defence sections. The pixel art is vibrant and characterful, the characters are memorable, and the overarching story is passable if not particularly unique. Overall, fairly enjoyable.

Played as single player. I played on easy which i found a challenge. game is ok as single player but its abit of a busy chore as your doing all the building.

Gameplay:

The main idea of this game is emphasized in the gameplay, which consists of a platformer section and a tower defense section. They interact perfectly with each other. It is also worth mentioning the possibility to improve weapons, characters and we have a very good representative of the indie genre. I was perhaps least impressed with the game's story, which tried to convey the surprise factor, but that's already been seen. It is also worth adding that the ending of the game was unexpected and it seems that the developers were in a hurry to finish the game as soon as possible, so I was surprised when I saw the end credits. On the bright side, the soundtrack must also be added, it's amazing. As you understood, the gameplay of this game is amazing and it will not disappoint you.

A girl and her grandfather unwillingly find themselves entangled in a big ploy after uncovering some ancient weapon during their routine scavanging for scraps in a junkyard. While trying to discover its origin and purpose, they will meet some new friends and develop further their relationships.
The story is okay, just plagued by your typical cliches riddled of coincidences-driven plot twists. If that annoys you (it annoys me) then maybe avoid this game. None of the characters were particularly charismatic or interesting.
This plays as a mix of a tower defense and side-scroller. The mixture works well except that the developers forgot to balance things properly: some towers are plain useless, others are overpowered. There are 4 characters with varying powers, but they are slighly unbalanced as well.
The achievements were fine and relatively fair. The art was fine, but nothing special either. There is voice acting, but just for the interjections and that gets annoying pretty quickly. This is a very meh game but whatever, thumbs up, tja.
