The first thing to keep in mind is that Abyss of Neptune is free. Yes, it could be better or more serious or have more consistent tone or any other number of complaints.
But it's free.
I had a good time with it, honestly it was a neat, little survival horror with interesting mechanics and gameplay I enjoyed. Easy recommend because, you know, it doesn't cost anything? If you don't like it, just uninstall and find something else.

I can't believe this is free. It's a little rough around the edges with some occasional jank and framerate drops but honestly I've paid good money for short horror games that are nowhere near as polished as this one. Give it a go!

Spooky underwater horror survival adventure! Decent visuals, nicely done sound design, but the best thing is how the rooms are connected. I have to praise this level design. It was pleasant to play (and for free). The negative reviews are from people who either fail at puzzles or don't know how to use the WASD keys or hold down the mouse button longer to aim precisely, lmao.
