A Wholesome Game About Farming
It’s finally here, an honest to goodness game about farming! What will we think of next? Nothing but you and the calming iterations of putting seeds into the ground and taking them back out after they’ve gotten larger and more vegetable-y. Maybe you’ll even discover some new recipes to put them in! No need worrying about how your actions affect anything happening at night, because probably everyone is asleep and everything is fine. No reason anything that happens at night could affect anything happening on your farm because, as I believe I’ve said, everyone is sleeping at night.
A Wholesome Game About Farming takes roughly 2 hours to complete, and features classic farming mechanics like:
- Purchasing and planting seeds
- Harvesting and selling crops
- A simple crafting system where you can discover new recipes
- Spying on people
- Sneaking up on your victims
- Placing obstacles for your victims
- Hiding the evidence
You’ll play as a struggling yet resilient and kind-hearted old farmer named Jep, and if there’s any such thing as a "vampire" named "Raluca" who you "play as" at "night" I’ve certainly never heard of her and have no idea what you’re talking about.
Happy Farming!

I was surprised that such a simple game still took some time to get a hang of, and I found myself improve at strategy. There is a way to play yourself into a corner, and I did, so a tip: don't let Tilia feed your cat unless you already have a horse . Overall a very fun and quick game, and it works well even on a really low end laptop.

This is probably one of my favourite free games I've played recently. The farming mechanic is fun, there is some strategy to land management and what you plant.
There is about 2 hours worth of content to discover, but I still found this game fun to replay. Multiple play-throughs are required to get all achievements unlocked, but I didn't mind at all since I enjoyed the main farming/hunting mechanic (I am someone who likes more relaxing low-key sim games like this).
My only critique would be that the first few opening/introductory scenes get a bit repetitive on replays, so I just created a save file at the start of the actually farming so I could skip them.

Fun and interesting short little game.
It's got a clever premise with an interesting mechanic.
The crops you plant by-day become obstacles at night.
The biggest con is using the RPGMaker controls during the nighttime action sequences.
It's manageable, but it always seems like you need to fight the RPGMaker engine to make it work.
Overall, very enjoyable and worth the time spent.
It took me about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
