The year is 878 AD, the embattled English king Alfred the Great has mounted a heroic defence at the battle of Edington, and blunted the Viking invasion. Es ist ein schönes Spiel.
Leider gab es nur ein DLC, mehr wäre cool gewesen.
Eine Erweiterung auf Mitteleuropa wäre Fantastisch.
es ist sehr ausbaufähig.

Hello fellow Total War enthusiasts,
I wanted to give this Saga Title a good recommendation after all the crap it has been through and the negativity. And to be honest the very early versions of ToB (Thrones of Britannia) were quite a turn off for me. I had shit it down for quite some years. Creative Assembly tends to experiment with new features in Saga titles, which is okay and they finally found a perfect mixture for the fierce battlegrounds on the British Isles. This title here, my friends is the closest you can get to a Medieval III, a really smooth game experiece in regards to the rough optimised Attila Total War (which is nonetheless one of my favorites). So if you can relate to early medieval sword clashing, the histories of good ol`Albion, wanting to dive deep into an absolute marvelous campaign map and hope for some eye candy on the battlefields... grab this one. It is absolutely worth it for a Saga title.

Ich war anfangs eher skeptisch, aber dieser Total War Teil wird deutlich unterschätzt! Hier wurde einem kleinen engagierten Team die Möglichkeit gegeben, das Beste aus allen bisherigen Teilen zu vereinen. Wer die vielen Titel kennt, wird hier immer irgendwo ähnliche Mechaniken wiederfinden. Zudem hat man sich hier auch getraut, neue Mechaniken auszuprobieren, und bestehende aus alten Teilen zu erweitern.
Am Anfang kann das Interface und die vielen neuen Mechaniken erdrückend wirken, aber der geübte Strategiespieler findet sich schnell zu recht. Schade, dass hier nicht mehr Zeit und Geld von den Entwicklern reingesteckt wurde, es hätte es wirklich verdient!
Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Historie, wurde ein würdiger Teil in der Total-War-Reihe geschaffen!
