A Hat in Time is a cute-as-heck 3D platformer featuring a little girl who stitches hats for wicked powers. A little girl and her spaceship In A Hat in Time you play as a tiny space-travelling girl with a big tophat. Her adventure is halted when all her fuel, the Time Pieces, is lost and scattered across a nearby planet. Hat Kid must now jump, fight and stitch new hats to make her way into every nook and cranny of this new world in order to restore her fuel and resume her journey. On her way, she'll bump into the menacing Mafia of Cooks, the goofy birds of Dead Bird Studio, the spooky shadows of Subcon Forest, and more! Murder on a train! Parades! Trespassing in a movie studio? Every mission in A Hat in Time is unique! At one moment you'll be solving the Murder on the Owl Express by finding clues and interrogating the locals, the next moment you'll be the band marshal in The Big Parade, or sneaking through the bird-run Dead Bird Studio!

Das Spiel ist für alle geeignet, die gerne Punkte sammeln, Gegner vermöbeln und das auf lustige Art und Weise. Ich persönlich finde das Spiel niedlich und würde es sofort jeden empfehlen, der in eine Fantasiewelt eintauchen möchte, die mit Spaß und bunte Zauberwelten auftrumpfen kann und wo auf jeden Fall immer ein unerwartetes Ereignis auftreten kann.

I anticipated this game long before it came out, when 3d Plattformers become a rare sight. It did not disappoint. It took the things you know and love about 3d Plattformers and created a very unique and charming experience. Good world design, fantastic music, interesting characters, collectibles.
If you are a fan of 3d Plattformers, this is a must-buy. If not, still give it a shot!

A Hat in Time ist basically das, was passiert, wenn ein Jump-’n’-Run richtig gute Laune hat. 🧢✨
Du hüpfst durch bunte Level, sammelst Kram ein und wirst dabei ständig von absurden, lustigen Momenten überrascht. Das Spiel nimmt sich selbst null ernst – und genau das macht’s so geil.
Die Steuerung läuft schön flüssig, also keine Rage-Momente (meistens 😅), und die Level sind kreativ genug, dass es nicht langweilig wird. Mal bist du Detektiv, mal rennst du vor verrückten Gegnern weg – komplett wild.
Und das Beste: Zu zweit macht’s nochmal mehr Spaß. Chaos garantiert. Einer verkackt den Sprung, der andere lacht sich kaputt – perfekte Kombi.
Fazit:
Ein super charmantes Jump-’n’-Run, das einfach Spaß macht und auch nicht zu einfach ist. Klare Empfehlung, vor allem wenn du mal wieder einfach nur zocken und lachen willst.

This is the game that comes closest to the original spyro games imo. a few bugs here and there, you feel the lower budget, but very charming. and a great mixture of cozyness and challenge. would recommend!!!

Die Charaktere und Story sind sehr süß und auch das Gameplay ist sehr spaßig.
Vielleicht nicht genug Abwechslung im Gameplay, dafür aber in der Präsentation. <3

A Hat in Time erinnert mich jedes Mal an die alte Super Mario 64-Zeit.
Man muss nicht alles schaffen, um Spaß zu haben. Wer aber noch mehr will, kann sich nach der Story an die Death Wishes wagen oder bei den Events mitmachen – es gibt also auch für Completionists genug zu tun.
Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist eigentlich, dass ich gerne noch mehr davon gehabt hätte. Ein größeres Kompliment kann ich dem Spiel kaum machen. <3
