☐ Very good
☑Good (Fun gameplay mechanism, but it's Ubisoft so it has a lot of repetitive events and gamemodes, but I still applause the effort the devs have done to make the game more fun to play. However, helicopter with machine guns and rockets are proved to be too OP)

---{ Grind }---
☐ Nothing to grind
☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks
☑ Isn't necessary to progress (Like I've said above, you can speedrun the game with starter weapon if you go full COD mode without stopping).
☐ Average grind level
☑ Too much grind
- Normally I don't recommend cheating, but for this game, please just use cheat engine or trainers to modify the money. Everything here is kinda expensive and I don't have a lot of time to grind for those items. I also believes that Ubisoft adding Silver Bar, an actual micro-transaction currency, is to encourage people to buy them with real money instead of grinding everything.
- If you want to play with your friend with modified money, open the single-player mode --> open trainer --> edit the money --> turn off both of the cheat engine/trainer and the game completely --> Open the game and join the multiplayer mode (EAC - Easy Anti Cheat only works in online mode, you won't get banned for using it in offline mode).
☐ You'll need a second life for grinding

☑ Lovely (Great stories like the previous 4 games, great NPCs, great villains, kinda the same as Far Cry 4 when the ending make you question whether killing Joseph or joining him was better because at the end, he was right all along
☐ It'll replace your life
---{ Game Time }---
☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee
☐ Short
☐ Average
☑ Long (Around 20-30 hours to get to the final chapter, you has to defeat all 3 generals of Joseph, which you're only allow to defeat them after liberating a part of their territory to an extent)
☑ To infinity and beyond (Technically you can play forever because the game still let you played after you defeat Joseph, it just reset you to the time before you got to the final chapters)

Far Cry 5 is a fun, silly, action-packed open world game that I can launch anytime and have fun without having to relearn the mechanics or the input bindings of the game. The world is huge while also feel very much alive, peaceful yet chaotic at the same time. The landscapes always amaze me. It's majestic, immersive, almost feel like home; aside from occasional dead bodies lying around.
One feature that always keep me coming back to the game and that is companionship. Each has their own perk and unique personality as a character. The animal companions are the fun ones. You get to choose a scout dog, stealth killing mountain lion and a diabetic obese grizzly BEAR?! I couldn't ask for more! The pet button is essential. I also love the soundtrack that plays during loading screen with lovely imagery for each chapter/region you're in. It's a very beautiful touch, I just couldn't get enough of it.
The story doesn't quite hold up to scrutiny but is exotic enough to make it quite an experience. The test of will during story where you are abducted and forced to play through a mini-game with no option of skipping is what irritated me the most about the game, especially when it comes to race against the clock.
I've got more than enough hours worth of entertainment as a casual player and will continue to play it. For $9 on sale, the game is definitely worth looking into.

Perfectly fine "fast food" gaming, Far Cry 5 is not trying to be the greatest at anything and it offers a decent (if ultimately unessential) time as a result.
I'd recommend it on sale if you're just looking for a competent game to chew on for a few sessions, I got it 85% off and enjoyed my time but wouldn't have liked to pay more than the £7.49 it cost me.

Such an amazing game with 1 extremely fatal flaw..every single thing you do progresses you through the story no matter what. You can get through each section just by saving hostages, missing alll side missions. The story is so good but its so darn short because of that. Im playing through my SECOND time. 45 hours, and i milk games bruv

You can hunt wildlife with shovels
You can throw them like spears
You can swing them like a bat
You can clear an entire outpost with only a shovel
You can get a perk that allows you to carry, I am not kidding here, 9 shovels
My shovels thrown per minute, (or STPM) is honestly insane
There is also something about a cult and you need to save people, look the point is there is no better game that allows you to shovel your way to the end as good as what i have played so far.

My opinion on this game keeps flip-flopping between "I like it" and "I don't like it".
On one hand:
Beautiful graphics and a gorgeous world full of many details. Very well acted villain and main cast, gun animations are nice and smooth, game runs well (better than FC3 anyway), taking over outposts is fun.
This game is generally a very good sandbox, it has pretty much every vehicle you can think of. Boats, planes, buggies, cars, trucks, helicopters. Opens up many doors as to how you approach outposts. The sandbox places a large emphasis on big, action movie fun. You can either be all sneaky with silenced weapons and throwing knives... or get a bunch of sticky bombs, put em all over the place, explode them and then parachute down from a plane and shoot the place to pieces.
On the other hand:
This is just Far Cry 3 with a couple changes to game mechanics. Ubisoft keeps using the same exact structure for each subsequent FC game and it shows.
The story structure is basically this: you are in a place full of bad guys -> something goes wrong -> you run off and eventually pass out -> you wake up somewhere -> find the good guys that are your allies for the rest of the story -> get kidnapped by villain every so often so he can deliver his cool monologue -> hit or miss ending.
Ubi thinks they can rely on a well acted villain to save their story every single time. They can't.
There's also the chewed up and spat out open-world structure that every AAA game shoves down your throat. You have a bunch of markers on your map, and you have to clear them out by doing mundane tasks.
I don't quite know how to rate this game using a number scale. I don't like it, but I also like it at the same time. I'll say 7.5, bordering on 8 if I'm feeling generous.
