Armello is a grand swashbuckling adventure that combines three styles of play The deep tactics of card games with the rich strategy of table top board games, combined with a character role-playing system. As a hero from one of the clans of Armello, you'll quest, scheme, hire agents, explore, vanquish monsters, cast spells and face off against other players, with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello. The Kingdom of Armello is as dangerous as it is beautiful, perils, banes and bandits hide around every corner and a spreading corruption known as the Rot is leaving no creature untouched.

I love Armello, I have 244 hours in this game.
It needs to be free to play so there's more players online as there's next to no one to verse.
I have already recommenced a lot of my mates this game but there needs to be more players or game modes differences
TLDR:
Make the game free as the game is dead, Please just do it, its a great game.

I don't care how nice the art is, I am NOT playing your furry card game!
There's collectible dice, you say? Addictive strategic gameplay (albeit with Mario Party levels of nightmare RNG) with relatively short games and a good balance of simple rules to complex strategy? Collectible Dice? Worldbuilding that essentially combines Redwall with Game of Thrones? Collectible Dice?
Maybe just one game...

I can't believe it's already been 11 years since it was released. It doesn't feel that old (I mean you should feel my face after 11 years of weathering). I adore this game. Armello is an easy-to-learn simple boardgame at first glance. However, more experienced players can enjoy its various gaming concepts, which allow for much more advanced tactics and strategies. The goal is simple: the king has been corrupted, and you need to steal the crown from him by any means necessary. Pick one of the many different clans and show that king what you've got. The art is incredibly cute ♡ I love the playable characters, followers, and all the various cards.
When you're unsure what to do and just want to chill out with friends, Armello is always a safe bet. Even with AI, the game is super enjoyable. The only downside is that if someone disconnects from multiplayer, they can't rejoin.(which can be especially troublesome if you have ♡ Spanish weefee ♡). You might be on the brink of getting that rare achievement, and then *SONIDO DE EXPLOSION*, you have to start all over again. And yet, despite this tiny disappointment of developers not being able to fix this after 11 years, we still can't stop playing this game.
Oh, and I heard there's an actual physical board game coming out for this game, probably in 2025! I'll wait and see what the critics say (you know how those Kickstarter hypes can sometimes go wrong), but my curiosity is piqued!
Fantastic game. Highly recommended! ≧◡≦

It's a fun, board game-like strat game that is just fun to play. The designs are enchanting and fun, the setting is reminiscent of Red-Wall, and the gameplay isn't hard to figure out. I just wish my friends would play it, too

I'll keep this brief. I'll simply state the main "yes" and "no" for this game as it stands currently.
Do you recommend this game? Yes
It looks good, it sounds good. It's simple to understand.
Do you recommend this game? Hell No
Single player does get rather repetitive and lacking after a while because of the AI, whilst competent, it's nowhere near as good as a human player.
When playing online against other people, "teaming" is rampant. Almost every match has someone teaming up with their friend. In a game that's supposed to be a free for all, it utterly kills the competitive fun.
I understand why people would utilise "teaming" in Armello. It's a strategy that significantly increases - if not guarantees - success. For new players, there's only a bad experience waiting for you as you'll definitely get bullied every match.
Supposedly if you join the official Discord group you can avoid teaming however, upon joining the Discord, I only found people moaning about teaming and going over each step they made to prove so.
Armello is somewhat of a niche game that is rampant with teaming with a small community that has plenty of in-house fighting. Combining all this is a death sentence for an otherwise great game.

Genuinely never experienced any of the bugs others report. My PC setup, perhaps. However, I have had trouble joining my friends' games from time to time. (Seems to be most reliable to just use the room code.)
That aside, I'm a huge fan of digital board games, and this is one of my favourites. The artwork, animation, character design, and UI are top notch, the gameplay is clever and varied, and games don't take forever. Certainly worth grabbing when it's on sale (which seems to be just about always).

Great game, especially to play with friends if you're both into it. Has a bit of a learning curve, but if you put some time into it then it's lots of fun with a lot of strategy involved!
