I love this game even to this day, but hey, any friends who read this: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not try to play the multiplayer through Steam without an external client (i.e. Eye W 4 X, can't type the name properly, blame Steam), because the base multiplayer has RCE vulnerabilites that cheaters can freely exploit to hack your PC.

How I wish to be a kid with no understanding of the world again. Good times.
Always happy to boot this up and defend Burgertown. But its the Whiskey Hotel/Washington level that always stuck with me. The music, the radio chatter. I'm Canadian, and that ♥♥♥♥ made me a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patriot for its whole runtime.
Kudos to all of you out there, keep your heads up. I hope we all get the chance to enjoy these games over drinks with friends again :)

Do not buy the new COD games, buy this:
- Graphics are good enough and have aged like fine wine
- You can play this on a literal MAC laptop so you're graphics should be fine
- Gameplay is the best out of all of the COD games
- Its very grounded and sometimes even dark (No Russian, Invasion of U.S)
- The music i listen to when i exercise

"Remember No Russian."
It’s hard for me to approach this title without bias it was the first multiplayer game I ever played back in the golden days of the Xbox 360 era, surrounded by some of the most chaotic, unhinged, and downright hilarious people I’ve ever met online. There was something raw and unforgettable about that experience, and it’s bittersweet knowing that future generations won’t get to feel that same kind of magic. Multiplayer is still available today, and while it’s great that it’s even alive at all, it just doesn’t have that same spark on PC that it did back in the day though that’s probably my nostalgia talking. The campaign is solid, packed with cinematic set pieces and some of the most iconic missions in the entire franchise, lets not forget the impact the mission No Russian had on social commentary/video games on a global scale, I dont think we will ever see anything like that again. It definitely leans a bit too hard into the over the top action for my taste. I always preferred the tighter, more balanced tone of the original Modern Warfare. Spec Ops remains a blast still one of the most enjoyable cooperative modes Call of Duty has ever done. Playing it again with friends, especially with mods, makes for some truly god tier fun. Looking back, what really stands out to me is the way it defined an entire era of online gaming. For anyone who hasn’t experienced the classics from the very first Call of Duty through to this one it’s worth diving in just to see how quickly the series evolved and carved out a new identity, before it became what it is today.
