This game is incredible, but HUGE WORD OF WARNING! The publisher completely screwed the developers on this game and now the devs don't own any part of it financially or otherwise. Don't buy this on steam, buy it from a key reseller or any other way that keeps the money out of the publisher's hands. Kasedo is why we won't see a sequel or more content to this.

I'm going to be honest, with all the reviews going back and forth about how the game is and how it isn't I took the longest time deciding whether or not I wanted to buy this game. Once I bought it on sale, I played 11 hours in 2 days, so here is my review:
I think this game is great, it's a great time killer and I managed to drop a lot of time on this game without even realizing it. I think that the "challenging" part of it made me want to learn as much as I could about supply and demand and trying to keep those balanced.
I also think its awesome how theres quite a bit to this game, and even though I'm a starter I beat the "normal" AI and still had a lot I could research and delve into.
Definitely something that was worth the 5 or 6 bucks I paid for.
My 1 main issue is the actual graphical design. The art style is great don't get me wrong, in my opinion I can't really play games that arent visually appealing, even if it's good. But the smaller details are what really get me. Let me give an example:
In the warehouses of the game, I thought it was super cool that they had seperate entries and exits for the trucks, which really helps when seperating traffic and using one way roads (for those who like them). But the fact that as soon as the trucks arrive they kinda just...vanish into thin air. You'd think that if the developer drew and made cargo loading bays and parking lots, it'd be cool seeing the vehicles back in to drop off the cargo or something, even if it was just for a split second.
Having that kind of design, although small, would really convince me of the passion behind this game, which seems to be otherwise lacking in other major games and developers. Which is another reason why Indie games are taking over so much.
I'm not saying there isn't any passion, as I will continue enjoying this game, even after I drop this review. But I would really like to see the smaller details expanded upon every once and a while.
Thank you for reading.

I think people leaving bad reviews due to warehouse / traffic management are being unfair. This game lets you set up to 9 different destinations for each individual node (with research), so there aren't really any problems if you enjoy micromanaging your supply chains.

This Game is great as it allows you to build a little company and if brought on sale is worth every penny i just feel like its not original as it feels like, Transport fever 2, FS22 and a bit of startup company mashed together, don't get me wrong this game is great, its just not for me as when i was playing it i felt like ti had played it before as i do play both FS22 and transport fever 2.
Over all if you haven't played Transport Fever 2 or FS22 it is a great game and i would recommend it highly (When On Sale), it just feels to familiar when i am playing it and my only thing that really annoyed me is that you can only have 3 Fields to a farm.
8/10.

This is a fun simulation game but also a powerful learning tool for people of all ages. We have become to disconnected from how our economy and modern supply chains actually work (and fail). Playing this game should be mandatory curriculum for high school students.

This game was suprisingly enjoyable with also a suprising sudden end to the enjoyment. It's similar in gameplay and concept to games like Factorio, where you control resources and supply lines, but here you're meeting demand and sustaining a profit to expand the business and sell more and make money. Your goal is to outcompete the other businesses, buy their stock, and you win by getting a monopoly in your town, but thats sort of just one goal you can go for, while you really want to just expand until you can't anymore or can't sustain your profits enough to keep expanding. The expansion of towns is cool, and the different game options are also a fun addition to the game. There is a learning curve in the beginning for sure, and I still have no idea why I would want to use some buildings. There are some frustrating hard limits on the game, like the cities grow permanent squares that can't be purchased or demolished in any way. Also, the maps do have a limited size, but this isn't really a major issue as it only blocks you when you're already towards the end of the game and generally out of the mid-game. The logitistics management is interesting but sometimes frustrating, especially with traffic patterns causing issues sometimes. You can't really control where the trucks decide to go or how they should queue in areas leading to backups in a lot of areas, changing how you design where factories and storage goes.

A simple but charming production-chain city builder.
