Little Misfortune is an interactive story, focused on exploration and characters, both sweet and dark, where your choices have consequences. Starring Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez, an imaginative 8-year-old, who seeks the prize of Eternal Happiness, as a gift to her Mommy. Led by her new friend, Mr. Voice, they venture into the woods, where mysteries are unraveled and a little bit of bad luck unfolds. Sharing the same universe with the cult video game Fran Bow, created by the visionary dev-duo Killmonday Games.

My girl told me to play this game without informing myself on the story.
I instantly got the game and started playing.
Am I disturbed? Oh yes.
Would I recommend this game? Definitely.

Why you should or should not play Little Misfortune
What is Little Misfortune?
Little Misfortune is a cute decision based game where you play as a little girl who is honestly just very misfortunate you could say.
Quick Pros
✔ Runs well on lower-end PCs
✔ Strong visual style
✔ Detailed world design
✔ Interesting story
✔ Memorable characters
Quick Cons
✘ Short main story
Initial Thoughts:
-"I love the GLITTERRR"
-"Oooo I wonder if the narrator is evil because hes talking to us."
-"Ohhh...oh..."
Beginner Player Friendly?
I would say this game is very beginner player friendly, it definetly has some easy to understand controls and is very easy to understand what the objective is to continue through the game play. I would say that even though it has a cutesy art style, I would argue that this game is not family friendly.
Game Play:
The game play is very straightforward, follow the narrators directions, and interact with objects in the world. You control the outcome of the ending of the game in a way, as there are multiple endings.
Graphics:
The graphics are simple 2D animation and suite the games character very well. For as dark as this game can get the graphics seems very pleasent in comparison.
Community:
The community is very friendly and seem to be still active on the steam community page.
How long can you play?
This game is quite short but is still quite enjoyable. However, It doesnt have to much replayability. So if you want a short but sweet game this may be more ideal for your game style.
My Opinion:
In my opinion if youre looking for an adorable cutesy but dark game to play this may be the game for you.
Overall Review
★ 7/10 - With an art style like this this game could never be super dark and birthed straight from hell itself right? Glitter.

Little Misfortune is a touching and dark story disguised as a children's fairy tale. The game enchants with the atmosphere and characters, but leaves a bitter aftertaste. An excellent choice for those who appreciate unusual projects.

It's so odd and out of pocket sometimes, but there are also so many lovely, heart breaking moments. If you love a weird, touching story - this one is for you. How can anyone not love Little Misfortune
