so this game surprised me a little bit. is the combat great? no, it can get clunky but the parrying is dope, the slide and dodging is solid. the actual sword swings are a little delayed it seems or there is some type of input issue. however, there is lore scattered around in echoes and stones that was awesome to find, and also interesting to see because it was simpler then most other games. it's an open world but it's a pretty small one if im honest, i actually liked the level design a decent bit. it was simple design, branched off smaller pathways and it always felt rewarding to find more gear and supplies. either way, the story is okay, the combat is meh but has some sparks during fights, the exploration and level design was simple and decent, and i got it for like $5. i would recommend this game on a sale though, as it seems to no longer receiving any updates or fixes. if you're into souls games, check this one out forsure!

Very nice adventure game! I enjoyed the storyline and the progress of the game, the twist at the end was interesting as well, definitely worth playing, completed in 12 hours, the puzzles especially can be advanced with a lot of things going on, a lot of walking around and depth into it, it was hard sometimes and the bosses are a bit odd, but they're still enjoyable. Killed the boss with less than 5% HP left.

The artwork and game play reminds me a lot of Legend of Zelda games. Honestly, the game is a relaxing break for me from having the crap beaten out of me playing Souls-like games. You can make some progress with this game if you have an hour or two. Lots of area to explore and most of the minor enemies are quick kills. You just don't want to tackle a large group because they don't wait their turn. Overall, very enjoyable. I was lucky enough to come across this game for free on Steam but I was looking for this kind of game and would have considered purchasing also.
