AETHERIS
For decades, the Wilderness has been a ravaged and hostile land. Monsters multiply, corruption spreads to the plants, and the few Vazards who dare to venture out of their village do so armed to the teeth.
In the north, mysterious masked creatures spread terror. And in the south, it is said that a dark power lurks in the mountains…
Ætheris is a roguelite adventure game mixing combat, exploration and tactics. You must travel through the Wilderness to find a way to save your village and its inhabitants from certain extinction. Battle monsters, meet the other vazard tribes, form alliances or choose to go it alone.
Each traveller who enters the Wilderness will experience a unique adventure, shaped by their decisions, the vagaries of fate and… the influence of mysterious beings.
- Set out to discover the Wilderness, choosing the paths and decisions to take. You are responsible for the fate of your people: the fate of your entire village is in your hands.
- Explore the unique landscapes of the island that will unfold before your eyes.
- Events will spice up your journey. Choose wisely: your choices will have an impact on the rest of the story!
[Each choice corresponds to a character trait and will shape the character’s personality for future events. Who knows how this will affect their behaviour later on?
- Fight wild creatures using your skills strategically, in turn-based battles.
- Pay attention to the advice of the spirits… They will guide you to salvation.
- Exodus Mode: The Shadow is spreading through the Wilderness, devouring everything in its path. Before it’s too late, race against time to find a way to evacuate your village
The world of Ætheris is unlike any other.
Explore a strange universe in an unforgettable and colourful graphic environment, in a post-apocalyptic medieval jungle atmosphere.

Great & short Roguelite. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Much skill synergies and build variety.
Best part about the game would be event and item variety. Even after 60 hours of gameplay there are still new items to find.
Low note would be the overall lengths of the game, not that its bad, i just wish it was longer in some way
Had fun 7/10

Very charming game. I love the maximalist, ornamental, handmade art style, and I like that it's a tactically engaging game that isn't very demanding that I can enjoy with friends for a welcome change of pace. We don't really care about the difficulty so far, but maybe that's because a) we haven't had to do many runs yet b) half of the gameplay for us is playing dolls with our Vazzards, they're just neat little guys

I have no idea why people are complaining so much about the combat being boring. You might just be a boring person. I found tons of fun and interesting ways to make effective parties. This game is beautiful and every last pixel was crafted with love. Bravo, Wild Wits. Do more co-op like this, i will buy at least two.

Aetheris has really interesting visuals and a unique character progression system wherein you can choose from a group of abilities partially unlocked from defeating monsters with said abilities or accomplishing other achievements. The combat is a little slow and there isn't another permanent progression mechanism, so the $25 price tag is fairly wild. Get it on a deep sale if you're into this style of play.

The game may seem ultra hard at first, but when you actually take time to read the enemy's info which doesn't take that long and you also plan out propperly what stats to raise, considering possibilities it's hella fun.
This is like a really good mix between gambling and planning out odds, with also pretty good strategy since you can check what moves the opponent can use and plan around that, leaving high def lizards to tank attacks while not even taking damage if u play properly around that.

The art is a treat to behold.
The levelling system is just so cool.
The story is still mysterious after beating it once.
Playing online with my friends was easy.
There are some typos and grammar mistakes and sometimes that means the mechanics are described slightly incorrectly.
I don't care because you get to play d&d with glamorous collage lizard people.

The game's artistic design stands out with vibrant visuals and immersive soundtracks. Critics have praised its engaging gameplay and strategic depth, though some mentioned the integration of roguelite elements could be smoother, and the difficulty curve can be steep.
